These are really bright. Night and day difference over incandescent bulbs.- Cheap. $10 for a pair? Yes please.- Well made. "Bulbs" looked well made with a heatsink. Soldering looked solid too.- No Polarity. Earlier/cheaper LED "bulbs" have a polarity (the D in LED stands for Diode.) It is a PITA to install eight LEDs and then have to check for polarity. Then turn the ones around that aren't on.Cons:- Visibly turns the backup light housing light yellow. Basically, the bulb stands out when you are six feet or less from the car. These 5w LED bulbs appear to be twice as bright as the supposedly 1200 lumen lamps I bought on eBay (I put in one bulb and compared them), and I would guess about twice as much light as the factory incandescent 18w bulbs.Would I take brighter? Always. But I don't want to pay $30 for higher wattage LEDs and halogen bulbs don't appear to be available in this size. These seemed very reasonable at just $9.99 for the pair. Although the 2013 Honda Fit manual showed that replacing them was a simple job, it wasn't. The holes in the bracket that the bulbs are behind are very small. It was impossible to get my fingers on the bulbs and apply any torque to remove them. But the problem was solved with a pair of common needle-nosed pliers. I changed one bulb at a time so I could compare the brightness of the new LED bulb with the other original one. The new LED was much brighter and very white. It made the older original bulb appear dim and yellowish. So I immediately changed it for the LED.
