I really an so thrilled to have bought these and installed them myself. There's plenty of bass and mid. Treble is slightly lacking bc there's no tweeter, probably. But, lemme tell you, there's no distortion and the bluetooth built-in stays connected day after day to my Echo Show 5 which I use as my primary streaming device in the bedroom. I wish there was an easier way to switch input devices without having to unplug it for reset or go into the attic. That part kinda stinks. Or better yet, if it could pair to two different devices, say a TV and an Echo device, that would be stellar. But no such luck. For the price, they are fantastic, though. Side note, my walls and ceilings are plaster over lath board. After a grueling cutting session, the speakers fit just as the would if they were being clamped to drywall. Excellent fit. I put a large piece of batting insulation of the backside of the speakers in the attic to better insulate and direct the sound downwards. Worked wonders. Best of luck. These Pyle speakers were a great lower cost choice as opposed to some other options on here. We used them in a bathroom and the sound quality is awesome. They’re easy to install, connect to, and look sleek on the ceiling.

I bought these speakers to go in the ceiling on my back porch, I wanted simple Bluetooth speakers that I could control from my phone and didn’t require a receiver and these fit the bill! The sound quality is not great in comparison to a JBL or Bose speaker but it’s not awful at all however, I expected that for the price and I couldn’t find any “high end” speakers that didn’t require a receiver of some sort. Let’s get back to the sound quality of these speakers though, it’s pretty decent, there is no cracking or anything like that even when the volume is turned all the way up and they get pretty loud, I can hear them clearly in the back of my property which is about 150 yards from my house. I’ve had the speakers installed in the ceiling on my back porch since May 2019, we live in central Florida so humidity is a big deal and so far I’ve had no problems with them, they’ve been great, meeting and exceeding my expectations with almost daily use. As far as installation goes, I’m clueless as my husband installed them, he didn’t complain about them but he’s quite handy so I’m not sure how helpful that is. Overall, I highly recommend these speakers for the purpose!

Build quality is good. Value is great....with a small tweak Installing and wiring the speakers was straight forward. HOWEVER, I ended up tossing the BT reciever that comes with the speakers. It's far too underpowered to enjoy the speakers and the range and bass is lackluster at best. But with a slightly bigger BT reciever with more power, these things woke up! I picked up FOSI powered BT reciever for 25 dollars that made these scream and thump. I'll be using these for two future projects. Great value.

The Bluetooth connector for these speakers is terrible. Very low quality. I had loud feedback problems and aux input also had feedback issues. Took the Bluetooth connector out of the equation and I'm quite pleased with the quality of sound from the speakers.

These speakers are big. The installation was easy but requires a tools that people may not have like an electric saber saw to cut the hole in the ceiling if made of wood. If sheet rock it’s no problem - just use a sheet rock hand saw. The speaker wire included is very small in gauge so I used some 16 gauge wire I had on hand. The wiring connections were simple and the Bluetooth connection was fast and worked without disconnection for more than 2 hours. Sound quality is remarkably good. In my case there is a chamber behind the speakers in the ceiling which I’m sure helped with generating some bass. Treble is very clear and there is plenty of upside on volume beyond normal listening levels. Overall I’m happy I bought these speakers. The kit was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. I will update this review in a few months.

Good speaker

Really nice speakers with great sound, straight forward installation. I found them a little weak on the bass so I downloaded a bass booster app to my phone . I would highly recommend these speakers at this price point.

Tried this out and was extremely dissapointed in the quality of the sound, and the bluetooth connection was unreliable.

Fantastic speakers 3rd set l have purchased having no problems or issues with the speakers. My only disappointment with this last set ,was the incorrect power adaptor ( ie not correct Australian electrical plugs) had been put in the box .Which resulted in a 43 Km trip to a specialist electrical supplier and $11 for the new adaptor plug to get the speakers working . So l’m guessing that someone messed up with the region this order was going to regarding electrical plugs
