It works, and it’s great!
I get rough allergies in the spring and fall, I’m not a scientist but for whatever reason this helps alleviate them a ton. I also recently started wearing nose strips and mouth tape to help my breathing at night. On its own this was a huge change in sleep quality, but combined with the ionizer, I’m getting the best sleep of my life, no exaggeration. I bought this in December of 2019, currently nearing fall of 2021 I’ve used it intermittently, weeks at a time every few months as needed, and it still runs perfect. A warning, keep all electronics far, far away. It even burned out a Phillips hue lightbulb I had sitting near it in a lamp, this will wreck your electronics. But I had already read enough comments sections to know it does this, and honestly the couple electronics I lost while figuring out the proper distance to keep things is a worthy trade off for the sleep I’ve been getting, and the incredible allergy relief. Thank you to the creator, I know it feels like you’re getting beat up by the negative reviews, so I felt like I should come back and write this review as one of the very happy customers.

The sound is horrible!
I had to throw mine away. Unfortunately it makes this high pitch squeal sound that drove me crazy. It is also made of a thin “metallic look alike” plastic that looks as if one drop to the floor and it’s broke, and comes with a large unremovable advertisement of its corporate name printed in large gaudy print across the front. So I’m not pleased. I’ve had many ionizers in my life and this one is surely the ugliest and slightly higher in ion flow....I was expecting for the price and ugliness to get a quiet ionizer with stronger flow of ions. For me the only place I could find that is 10 inches from a wall and not completely in my way is hanging, but it says it needs to be three feet from ones face, and also it knocks dirty particles down.....so I don’t want to be under it breathing in all the dirt it drops out of the air and into my lungs. It was the extreme sound it made that made m3 throw it awY within a week. Extremel6 irritating.

An invisible miracle!
Okay---where do I begin to count the ways...? I am lucky--I have little to complain about but my husband is a cigar smoker. We actually built on a window-rich man-cave/porch so he can smoke out there. The space is SO pleasant except for the smoke and smell--it just breaks my heart. We bought a big air scrubber that has consistently under-performed in its job--so we recently bought a purifier that was also an ionizer. While we loved it, filters were not available for purchase, so we purchased one that is true-hepa but not an ionizer. We quickly realized what we loved about the first one, and that was the negative ion production. I really don't know the difference between this "Pro" model and its non-pro counterpart--other than a few dollars. I originally thought I'd be moving this one from place to place to enjoy ion showers wherever I wanted. This is a powerful instrument. The smoking porch is loaded with electronics and metals---the charge on this generator is a little scary (maybe more than a little) so once I had it set in the perfect place (which turned out to be about the only place for it), I didn't want to touch it again except to turn it off. Any inconvenience involved in operating the Twin Air Pro is completely negated by the job it does on smoke. As a non-smoker, I am more than aware of the lingering smell of cigar smoke on everything it touches, including my body and clothing. Once you're aware, it never leaves your nostrils. Of course, the furniture and walls are infused so the room isn't really pleasant for anybody BUT the cigar smoker himself. The Twin Air happened to arrive while my husband was gone--so I set it up and turned it on. Some of the reviews report an energizing feeling that sounds like a bother. I, on the other hand, stretched out on the couch to experience negative ions and was asleep in seconds. The Twin Air Pro is absolutely silent. If you point your head toward it, you'll feel the bombardment by all those negative ions you've been missing out on. We had people in--people who I am sure have had to go home before and hang their clothing outside having been awash in cigar smoke on a few occasions. I am ultra sensitive to that smell---and I could not smell any, old or current! We pointed out our new "steam punk" appliance, spewing ions that were battling (and winning) over the smoke and everybody was very impressed. The air has a crispness that was formerly unexpected at this house. It's pricey--but worth every penny. If it keeps churning out the ions at least at the rate my husband churns out smoke, I will be grateful and happy.

Truly Exceptional Negative Air Ionizers
I have purchased two of these units and am delighted with them so far. Over the past two decades, I’ve tried various ionizers. In the late 80s and early 90s there was at least one company manufacturing impressive ionizers, but since then it has been a series of disappointments, with the last ionizer I purchased breaking the first time I depressed the On switch. The one before that lasted about a month. Both of these were desktop units that are still available and considered top-line units. After that second unit broke out of the box I opened it up out of curiosity to discover two or three wires secured to the inside of the case with what looked like lumps of clay and some electrical tape. It was a $90 piece of junk. That is why I’m so pleased with what NaturAir has accomplished. These are heavy-duty, solid-state negative ionizers with no moving parts, the output of which you can feel several feet away. They are very powerful and seem to be made with impeccable craftsmanship. My objective in using these is principally to improve the indoor air quality and reduce the amount of dust in the house. But I’m also aware of the potential health benefits of negative ionization. Although it is subjective, I do feel I am sleeping better when I use an ionizer in the bedroom. It’s too soon to tell, but there has been, at last so far, a reduction in the number of headaches I typically experience during this time of year. If NaturAir had decided to produce ionizers only half as impressive as they did, they would have been superior to much of what is currently on the market, but they went all in and are producing masterpieces. These units are far and above even the good units I remember from the early 90s. I’m personally grateful to this company, because I was beginning to believe that quality negative ion generators would probably not be affordably produced again in the United States. (I say “United States” because I’ve heard anecdotally that Japan takes negative ionization seriously and produces good generators).

It worked well for a while
It worked for about 7 months, then, just quit. No reason for it to just quit. It wasn't moved. One day I noticed that the light was not on. Then, I checked with the hair on my arm to see if I could feel an electric charge. Nothing. Just a big ugly paperweight now. That's a lot of money to spend on just a few months of clean air. When it worked, it worked well.

The real deal, definitely worth the money!
I bought this product on a whim as I am a military veteran who suffers from lasting effects of exposure to chemicals and other agents from my time in the military. I have difficulty sleeping and wanted a negative ion generator primarily for the function of helping me to rest, as well as reducing the amount of airborne dust due to my allergies as well. The high negative ion production with low ozone is What attracted me to this unit. I placed the unit within six feet of my bed, on top of my dresser. I have a fan behind the unit which helps to circulate the air in the room past it as it functions. One of the amazing things I've noticed is that I have much less dust in the room on the furniture now, as it seems to mostly fall to the floor. I also noticed that I am resting better at night when I'm sleeping, I have not checked the negative ion output with an ion detector, but I am sure it is working as I can hear the air hissing through it. I will buy a second unit to put in my living room which shares room with my study as well. A very good buy if you are interested in the benefits of negative ions! I bought the higher output model and am certainly glad I did!

Update
Unit stopped working today. It was putting out alot of ions. I tested it with my ion tester....I havent even had it a week and it stopped working...returning...UPDATE(09-01)...customer contacted me and sent out a new unit. The new unit is working now. It def gives out a ton of negative ions. I hope this one keeps working. I'm upgrading to 3 stars for the excellent customer service. I will update in a month on the product.....Update....a month later unit is still working good. I'm not sure if I've experienced any health benefits or not. My finance was still getting stuffed up while sitting on the couch. She is allergic to dogs and we have 2 boxers, so I'm not sure if this thing working or not. She hasn't been stuffy in a few days tho, so maybe it just takes a little time to start feeling the effects. I will update in another month.

Good product and excellent customer service.
I like the product a lot. Minus one star, because I had to return the first unit when it failed after 4 months. The company replaced it, provided great service and paid the return shipping. I won't leave the unit on 24/7, to extend the life, but it does have a lot of power.
