Best microphone I invested in
I recently started using this wireless saxophone microphone for gigs and rehearsals, and it’s been a game-changer. The setup was incredibly straightforward—pairing the transmitter and receiver took less than a minute. Once connected, the signal is rock-solid with no noticeable latency, even when moving around a stage or walking through the audience. The sound quality is excellent; it captures the full warmth and dynamics of my saxophone without distortion or feedback. The clip is secure yet gentle on the bell, and the lightweight design means you barely notice it’s there. Battery life easily lasts through multiple sets, and recharging is quick and hassle-free. What I appreciate most is the freedom to move without being tied down by cables. It’s perfect for live performances, busking, and even studio sessions where mobility is key. For the price and quality, this is an outstanding option for any saxophonist looking to go wireless. Highly recommended!

Nice microphone
Nice microphone I wasn’t sure how well this product would sound. I had the opportunity to try it out this weekend at two different gigs. Before doing the gigs, I gave it a run-through in my studio. I worked with the EQ and different settings to see what sounded best with my soprano, tenor, and alto saxophones. Sound: the overall sound was really good. I noticed a lot of key noise, but I was able to work with the EQ to bring those clicks down. I noticed that of the three settings on the microphone the alto setting had the best overall sound and worked well on all three of my horns. I was able to EQ the mic to drastically minimized the key noise mentioned earlier even during quiet passages a backing tracks. This was not as noticeable when playing with live musicians or loud passages. The mic works very well indoors but picks up any kind of wind noise outside. Also, be careful around fans. The slightest breeze can cause serious noise issues and even feedback. Battery life: The unit came fully charged so and has lasted more than four hours. I did turn it off between sets. I will definitely be charging it before the next gig. In use: My first event was an outdoor gig in a park. The mic was unusable. It created lots of feedback, wind noise, and other issues. Fortunately, I was prepared with my backup system. On the plus side though, I was able to play roughly 175 feet away from the receiver. My second event was an indoor gig. The mic worked flawlessly. I was able to interact with the crowd and play without a thought of the system. I was very pleased. The unit is light and secures to my horn well. I plugged the receiver directly into my Boss VE20 and also tried it directly into my Bose L1 Pro8. Both ways worked well. I like the packaging, the way the receiver fits directly into my mixer and or amp, and that the microphone is secure on my horns. I like that it charges in its case. Very well designed. I will definitely recommend this product. I plan to re-review the product after more uses. I have not charged it yet and I am concerned about the battery life. I hoping for as least a couple of years since the battery is non-user replaceable.

incredible value, really awesome design
It's hard to believe the incredibly low price for this system, considering how dependable and strong the signal is and how great the audio quality is. First gig so far I experienced no access feedback or no access wind noise, the saxophone sound was very well balanced in the house and the three frequency modes for alto/soprano/tenor saxes is helpful. My bandmates commented that they can hear me very well on my new mic and was even able to walk out into the crowd during my solos to interact with the audience more! I think that's another winning plus sign. Also, the included charging case was smaller than I expected! You can easily store this in a suitcase or even your own saxophone case which is great for touring or travels, which is far more convenient and far less cumbersome than bringing stands, cables and wired mics in large cases. The fact that the receiver and transmitter charges in the case and all three is chargeable by USB-C cable is very convenient, considering many other electronics also use this same charging method (especially android phones, some ipad models!) The transmitter clip seems to be strong and simple, it stays on the bell of the saxophone firmly but also super easy to remove in a second. I don't understand why the Samson AWX system has such an awkward looking transmitter clip design (may not stay on very well) and I hear their magnetic charging cable doesn't stay on very well. The receiver is basically plug-and-go, so you don't have to plug into an extra power source but also doesn't have all the detailed frequency and channel controls. Therefore it would be best to plug it into a mixing board that already has all the controls on it, which most of my gigs have on site anyways. The one disadvantage you'll find however, is the range is only 20 meters (about 66 feet) which isn't as long as the other systems such as Samson and AMT, (80-90 meters) but those include a large receiver unit with the fine tuning controls but also requires an external power source. Therefore when shopping for these you should really look into what's best for your needs, but for my own the range of this mic is just what I need. The AMT wireless mics are tried and true, legendary for such amazing signal and audio quality but they cost $800-1000, and I can't find any retailers who have any in stock. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to using this a lot more in the near future! Now I don't always have to carry a large cumbersome case with a wired mic, stand and cable with me and can just carry this in its compact case, thus lightening my load when I travel for gigs. Something like this would be worth even more than what they sell for!

Great for the price
Very nice mic! Not too worried about range because I play small venues and it works great. The only thing when you play low it sounds boomy (low B flat).. it’s very convenient, my favoirte thing is no batteries!! The charge lasts long, everything fits in a small case and easy to transport. Very happy with the purchase

J'adore mon micro.

Works well for simple gigs. It should have the optic of working connected to a power supply (the reception), it would make it possible to work with it in bigger events, because it will turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity, and then you are no longer ready to go, someone needs to turn the receptor on again. The mic is averagely good, but offer inferior quality in comparison with Shure Beta 98 for example. The equalizer thing (there are 3 options of equalizer) is a nice but there should be a 4th option of NO equalizer at all as well.
