ZWILLING TWIN Select Stainless Steel Kitchen Shears

NO AI. NO GENERIC NONSENSE. Item is actually purchased and used before review. I think these are good quality scissors after putting them through their paces for the last month. They do not rust even when washed and not dried. The cutting action if smooth and the pivot is easy to adjust if needed. Handle grip texture is perfect to use when dry or wet, and is easy to clean with soapy water. My glove size is XL and the handles can easily accommodate my hands without feeling awkward. They can be dropped without anything coming out of alignment or breaking easily. Price is really fantastic, making this a great value for the money ($19.95). Based on my experience with these scissors I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a reliable, low maintenance kitchen scissor.

These are very high quality kitchen shears. Not the typical junk you will find in most stores. These are made in Germany. Like the saying goes: buy once, cry once. These are super quality shears that will last a lifetime if you take care of them. They feature micro serrations on one side to "grip" what you are cutting and the other side has a smooth, very sharp edge to make precise cuts. I also love that you can pop off the the little red cap. Under it you will find the nut that holds the two side together. By removing the nut, you can give the shears a deep cleaning. I usually do this about once per year. Again, not cheap. But, once you try quality kitchen shears you will never go back.

These are the best kitchen shears I’ve ever had. Sharp and smooth. An excellent deal. Comfortable even for a lefty. I’ve hand washed them many times; after over year of use they still cut and look great.

I've had an endless series of cheap kitchen scissors through the years. When my last pair started tearing instead of cutting, and the tips didn't meet properly, I decided to invest in a really nice pair. I did a lot of research on Amazon and the Internet, trying to avoid paying for a designer name with poor quality. I decided to buy Zwilling J.A. Henckels Twin Select Kitchen Shears because they are solid, high-carbon stainless-steel and come apart for cleaning. I didn't want another pair with plastic handles, or any with a cheap screw holding them together. Another deciding point was the lifetime guarantee against defects, and the fact that German-made products I own (cookware and kitchen knives) have held up remarkably well. These scissors are truly beautiful to see, they're nicely balanced and the handles are very comfortable despite being solid metal. They are razor sharp and cut through chicken breasts as if they were paper. It looks like they require a dime or a screwdriver to take them apart, but I think it's a bonus that they can't pop apart easily. I'm very pleased with these shears, and look forward to years of using them in my kitchen. Sometimes it's really worth it to spend a little extra on quality! The scissors are great! They are sharp and will cut through chicken bones easily.

It quickly became my favorite one to use.

It's hard to find shears this sharp and durable. These are my second pair, one for the kitchen and one for my desk.

These are sharp and I can even use them left handed!

Functional but .. 1) unable to separate the shears to sharpen, 2) they're loose and hang open unless you clip them together - a bit of a hazard if hanging from a hook. A disappointing buy from day 1.

These are the perfect kitchen shears. They are very well made and retain their sharp blades. My only complaint is that they do not come apart when cleaning them. My old pair did and I was hoping these would as well. Overall they are a great pair of shears. Highly recommend!
