And it’s the only one that will work with it, so if buying the 705 cage get this as well. Both the cage and this antenna support are excellent pieces of kit, and I no longer worry about handling my 705 a certain way. Well worth the investment if you dropped the coin to get a 705.

Allows ic-705 with mounted cage to easily accept antenna connections. Works great and quality machined metal. Includes ground mount screw hardware package. Set screw mount and hex key. Beware set screw is very small and strips easy with hex key.

Nicely made. Not totally sure that it is needed. All RF connections are BNC. I use thin cables and keep everything short for easy travel

Works great and unlike the rc1 I can leave it on when I put the 705 in a maxpedition water bottle bag.

My signal was becoming intermittent so I removed the pl-259 connector to investigate. The center pin came out of the so-239 to bnc adaptor. There was no evidence of solder on the joint to the male bnc center pin. Beware this could be a weak spot. Mine broke before the 30 day return period so I am requesting a replacement. The vendor did replace the entire kit quickly so I am upgrading review to 5 stars.

This support works as advertised however the hardware is not the best quality as I have had problems with the screws not meshing well and the use of soft metal.

Better than I expected. This thing is solid. Perfect fit for the ARK-705 cage.
