I'm a vegetarian lacking protein from not enough food and veggie intake and way too much exercise. After losing too much weight, I'm trying to gain some of that back and muscle mass and this works great after a workout. It has 20g protein per scoop and I find the suggested three scoops easily fits in one glass without being too thick. It tastes great with soy milk. I use a blender, but it blends well just from shaking.I used to use Met-RX which tastes good, but is super thick like a malt (which most people like), but it'd take me forever to finish a shake. This mixes pretty thin, which I love. It's like drinking chocolate milk. This mix also tastes the best of the ones I've tried. There's no metallic after taste or weird vegetable tastes (like in some of the vegan alternatives). It tastes like real chocolate.I've been using this daily for a few months, and I've gained some good muscle mass and healthy weight and it's killed the headaches. It's not as calorie dense as I'd like for weight gain, but more scoops and not substituting it for a meal helps. It doesn't fill me up, so it's easy to eat a real meal right after. If you want a shake that fills you up and is thick, look elsewhere (Such as Met-RX, which unfortunately has gelatin in it). This is by far the best tasting shake that is easy and quick to drink.
