With the not unimportant exception of the remote, which over the past year has steadily degraded in no longer being very responsive to attempts to control the volume. For most of the past year I could deal with this by pressing hard and long on a volume button, but a few weeks ago even this no longer worked and I was stuck constantly getting off the couch to kill the super loud commercial and then back so as to hear the super low program. At that point I went to using the mute button to save my hearing, but shortly thereafter this failed as well and I was truly stuck. Just on the off chance, I searched desertcart. Amazing - an authentic-looking replacement remote, with good reviews, for only 10 bucks. Too good to be true, it seemed, but also too cheap to not give it a try.
