From bottom of the broom to top of handle is 53". **Q: Does the handle have a loop or opening so that the broom can be hung?** A: Yes. Storing a BROOM inside an MRI scanning room is unsanitary, and most certainly would not comply with “clean room” protocols expected in rooms where MRI’s are used. I would expect, or at least hope, that any personnel working anywhere near an MRI would have at least the very basic understanding that the presence of metal is only of concern while a scan is being performed. It would also be entirely improper for “housecleaning” to be conducted at the same time a scan is occurring, not only for the safety of the patient, but also for any person who might be doing the cleaning.
