Impressed with the build quality, but I'm questioning the temperature accuracy.
Beautiful and high quality materials and construction. The item arrived in 11 days, which is acceptable given international shipping. The hygrometer seams accurate. I'd love to give this 5 stars, but I'm finding that my thermometer is reading 10deg F low at temperature (140deg F - 170deg F) as compared to a Thermoworks ChefAlarm with a Pro-series high temperature air probe, which claims +/-1.8deg F accuracy in this range. I've ruled out hysteresis, as the temperature was maintained for 30 minutes. If I find that this unit is accurate, or find a way to calibrate it, I will change my rating. Overall, I am impressed with the build quality and materials.

Super accurate, amazing speed. REVISION: It fell apart today.
REVISION: It fell apart today, rthe glue holding the back gave way and the unit fell on the bench and does not work. Amazon was great in getting my money back. Still great thermometer and i will buy another one, but screw tha back on . don't write many reviews, but this is so good. I recently bought a new sauna and it came with a Chinese thermometer, total crap-I mean total crap. So i bucked up for this one, WOW, I know it is a thermometer. It has black markings for the optimum temp and is extremely accurate. The Hygrometer is incredible, I put water on the stones and it goes up to the humidity immediately, when it goes back down to a certain level I put more water on. I can watch it go up and down within seconds. I never thought i would be so happy with a relatively expensive purchase, but this thing is great. German built.

Accurate at sauna temperatures.
Do not pay attention to ambient readings; it is calibrated for the sauna temperature range. I like the blacked out range for typical sauna use. They kindly make this model in degrees F.

Most accurate temperature and humidity read out for a sauna I have found
I have tried a number of sauna thermostats and Hygrometers over the past year. This is the only one that has consistently provided an accurate readout and that can be read at a reasonable distance. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the value, great product but expensive.
