Keep in mind that the adapters on not for H4 bulbs. The adapters are for an H4 socket. I assume the bulb that fits this stock housing is a d2; However, I was not using it with this bulb. I was mainly interested in using these as a housing for an auxiliary h4 LED headlight bulb for my motorcycle. With a little alteration it worked and looks pretty good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I hacked a set of ACA type headlamps from the ... *by F***D on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2015* I hacked a set of ACA type headlamps from the bay and mounted these in with epoxy and put them in my C5 Vette. There was some learning curve to get them lined up horizontally and the cutoff was somewhat distorted by the housing but I did these for half the price that I could buy them already set up for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would give these 6 stars if possible *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2013* FIrst like the other reviews, know what you are buying before you think these are a plug and play solution. WIth that being said they are the easiest install for such a complex retrofit. I had the headlights on my 2003 Mazda protégé5, they are 9005 type bulb not the H4 that these are designed for, but the principle was the same. I had to dremel open the bulb socket a little for this to fit but it was a perfect very tight and nice fit.The way these work is you open your headlights in the oven, then instead of cutting the reflector all over the place and gluing in the new projector housing, with many many trips to the car to make sure you have them in straight and level. These rely on the OEM mounting surface of the bulb which is already straight and level, and has some very thick and spongy gaskets to make the install very clean.They are a true bi xenon with the little flapper doodle and the cuts on the beams are very sharp. I had HID bulbs in the car before with crapy results and horrible blinding lights with no light on the road.
