John Frieda Volume Lift Blow-Out Spray, Lightweight Volumizing Blow-Out Spray with Air-Silk Technology for Fine or Flat Hair, Adds Long-Lasting Volume, Texture, and Body for Thin hair, 4 Oz

This spray gives my hair noticeable lift without making it stiff or sticky. I use it before blow-drying, and it adds volume while still keeping my hair soft and touchable. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave residue. A little goes a long way, and it smells nice without being overpowering. Definitely a good option if you want extra body without that heavy product feel.

I’ve got super fine, straight hair that usually just kind of lies there, no matter what I do. I’ve tried a bunch of volumizing sprays over the years, and most either make my hair stiff, sticky, or greasy within hours. So I didn’t have huge expectations for the John Frieda Volume Lift Blow-Out Spray—but it actually surprised me in a really good way. I spray it on damp roots before blow-drying, and it gives me a noticeable lift without that crunchy feeling. My hair feels soft and still moves naturally, which I love. It also seems to help hold the style longer throughout the day. Not va-va-voom volume, but enough to make a difference and look like I actually did something with my hair. The scent is light and clean, nothing overpowering, and it doesn’t linger too long. A little goes a long way too! I also love the price, especially when compared to more expensive sprays that don't work nearly as well. Only downside: the volume doesn’t last forever. By the end of the day, my hair is usually back to its usual flat self, but it holds better than most products I’ve tried. I live in Florida, so I'm sure the humidity has a lot to do with it.

I have used John Frieda products since they have been in the market and simply love them, easy to apply, effective and it gives beautiful styling. Lately Volume Lift Thickening Spray in 6 fl oz.has been unavailable and in its place is a third smaller version. I have had to buy it because I have run out. My last buy of the 6 fl oz can was $ 8.57, however, the new 4oz replacement has risen in price to $11.99 ! Apart from a new spray nozzle the result is the same so I find the difference in price of a smaller can doesn’t feel justified. Perhaps John Frieda will reconsider such a huge price increase !!! Thus I can only give a four Star. All of JF’s products deserve a five Star for results. Thanking you.

Not my favorite! The original Root Booster worked great on my thin hair. This new and new improved version with the fancy new sprayer does nothing for me. I wish they would have left good enough alone! Costs more for less product

I have fine hair and this product makes my hair have volume! I really like it!

I have been using the John Frieda Volume Spray for years. Then last year it was discontinued for a new and "better" formula. The problem is the new and "better" formula does not work. My hair is flat where the old formula gave it some fullness. There are no instructions on the bottle. They reduced the amount in the bottle and increased the price. I cannot recommend this product at all.

Works great on my thin fine hair. It doesn't weigh it down, but adds the look of fullness. I do apply to wet & set hair.
