I bought the Tibetan Incense holder which was more money but the stupid thing couldnt contain all the ashes. This thing holds all the ashes if you adjust the end of the incense stick right. You just have to bend the end of the incense stick so that it is close to the holder. If the stick is to far from the wood then the ashes will fall every. But once it is close, it lands right in the groove and you have no mess. Works great and better than all the other holders I bought. You will be happy with it if you adjust the stick right, trust me! Review: Doesn't hold incense in a position for the ash to fall on the wood consistently. - The hole is drilled in such a way that the incense points way too far up, so the ash sometimes gets pushed over by breezes to fall off the wood.
