These are great! My toddler and I use them all the time, for activities, bath time, etc. Very educational, great value for the money- they’re durable and great quality- we have had them for a year now and they still look great. Would definitely recommend!

If you know what to expect when ordering these, you will be very happy with your purchase. This is a set of 10 colorful, plastic play bugs. They are each approximately 2-3 inches long. Very well sized for toddlers and young children. They vary in bright colors-- our set included yellow, green, blue, orange, pink, and navy. They are made of rigid plastic. These bugs do NOT wiggle or move. They are sturdy, durable, and very well-made. I bought these for warm-weather outdoors play. They are perfect to hide in the grass, play with in a water table, or use as a "hide and seek" with a magnifying glass in the garden. This is not a stand-alone toy-- you will need some imagination, but they are great!!! Also wonderful for teaching counting, sorting, etc.

I purchased these bugs along with the "Melissa & Doug Giddy Buggy Bug House" for my 15 month old grandson, who was getting bored with his toys and needed something to encourage more interactive play. His Mom, a first grade teacher, thought it might be a fun activity to hide the bugs outside and let him search for them. The first few times they took him out he wasn't sure what to do, but they encouraged him by pointing and saying, "I think I see something in the grass!" That made him really curious, and the fact that these little bugs are brightly colored, sturdy, molded plastic that he can hold comfortably in his little hands makes it an even greater reward. He is so excited to find each one and put them in his little buggy house. And, it is helping him learn his colors, sounding out the first syllable of each. I have purchased a lot of toys for this little guy, and these little critters along with the buggy house are an activity he will actually spend half an hour on outside. He also has a water table that he puts them in to give them a bug bath. Hey, even bugs need to get clean, right? 😂

These are so fun! In water, mud, sensory boxes—you name it!

My kids love having toys like these! They’re fun for sensory bins. They’re big enough for small hands but not so large that they’re obnoxious to store. They’re palm size on my toddler. My only real issue with these is they wouldn’t be good for educational purposes. Definitely more make believe. The colors are not at all realistic so they’re not super bug like if that matters

These are great for sensory bins, fine motor play, water play etc! Good quality plastic and colors. They're a bit with preschool age to elementary age!
