No, using a snap swivel is absolutely OK, and will not impact the scanning. You can use it together with shock leader.

I know it has a 2 years limited warranty but how will i know the warranty details and does it comes with 30 60 or 90 days returnable?

if the fishing line breaks does if float?

Yes. The Deeper constantly floats on the surface of water.

Will this work through a kevlar canoe? If placed in a baggie of water on the floor?

Hardly it will. It could show you approximate depth, but no more than that. For best quality of readings, the sonar must be in the water.

Pour le moment je suis satisfait de cet article, Car j'avais acheté " Deeper START " est il devait se reconnecter tous les 30/50 secondes. Ça devenait vraiment pénible, mais avec celui-là le " Deeper Pro 2 ", il fonctionne correctement aucun souci... Après l'avoir testé ( le Deeper Pro 2 ) dans un lac de +270 hectares, J'ai été vraiment ravi de la localisation et la précision dans le plan eau. J'ai passé une journée de pêche très satisfaisante grâce au Deeper Pro 2
