Great light!
Very happy with this light. Setting the auto function takes a bit to understand but worth it! Very convenient when I’m not home. Puts out a fair amount of heat, but have it on my 75 gallon tank so not much of an issue. Love that it has adjustable brightness. I need a stand to allow for adjustable height though, just my preference as I have plants in the top of the aquarium that would benefit from the full spectrum lighting as well.

Good light for a nice price.
Love this light my plants are doing great with it and the amount of light it puts out for my paludarium is perfect. Also the light cycle from morning to night is really nice this will be great for when I add my starry night reeds frogs. The low profile design is nice also making it fit perfectly in stands with low clearances.

This is a great product
I purchased this light on Nov 2022 !! I plugged it and programmed it then, it has worked non stop since then. I chose to program the light cycles and its amazing the control you have on all parameters. Slowly dims from day to night. The programming can be a little overwhelming until you get the hold of it. You can also choose the auto feature for a straight forward installation. Worked great for me !! By the way, dropped several times inside my tank with no consequences!!

Great light, crappy instructions
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a great light for my 10 gallon aquarium. My plants grow well, and the timer feature is great. It has a "daylight" setting where it starts off muted like the rising sun, then progresses through full day sun, then dims for "sunset". 4 stars because programming the clock and timer is not intuitive, and there are really no instructions that come with the unit. Any time I have to unplug the unit or lose power, I forget again how to program it and have to YouTube it.

Super customizable and convenient
This light works perfectly for my 10 gallon. It's so easy to set the timer, and it's always consistent around the clock. One of my favorite features is the gradual fade in and out of the lights; the lights don't abruptly switch on at the exact minute you set them to and actually turn up a little bit at a time. This is great for my betta, since they don't adjust to sudden changes in lighting as well as other species, and can get damaged eyes if dazzled. You can also change the color! I set my full spectrum for a daylight cycle, then do a little 50% B + G action for the first few hours of the night. It switches all on its own and I barely give a thought to the lighting unless I'm shuffling some plants around. I've used this light for months now and haven't had a single issue with it. Even when our power went out during storms, my time settings were saved and I only needed to adjust the clock. Highly recommend this bad boy if you want a full spectrum sunlight type of thing for your plants + don't want to hassle with an obnoxious LED fixture. Definitely a great deal for the price. Just be careful how you scape with plants that prefer more of a dim atmosphere, like them java ferns, because the light is pretty powerful and can scorch them. Other than that, this thing is great 👍 you should get one

Amazingly Cool Light!
Yes, programing can be tedious. Take your time, be patient with the directions and yourself. If you choose mode 53 (DIY), make sure you turn OFF the other two modes. Being able to ramp up and down the intensity (& color) on a schedule is a feature i've wanted for years. I went for a gentle warm white fade up in the morning, then a couple of hours a bright white mid-day, and a progressively more red shift as the fadeout works into the evening, finishing the cycle with a couple of hours of 10% blue-only before going off completely just before midnight. The quantity & quality of light is truly amazing for fresh water. I haven't had a salt tank in years, I can't really speak to its blue output being appropriate to make a salt tank have that gorgeous blue/uv pop!. This IS a wonderfully flexible fixture for the cost. We shall see how well its holds up longterm. The only two 'Cons' I see so far, the shortest of hiccup in the power will clear the clock setting, it holds the programing, but not the time. Makes me ponder putting a very small computer style UPs on the aquarium. Lastly, the brackets holding the light over the tank make me a tiny bit uneasy, if younger children interact with tank, or if you live in an earthquake prone area, in just my opinion, its possible the fixture could end up falling into the tank. Perhaps its not meant to be used on an open-top tank, that said, I may put a piece of plate glass under the light. Both of these topics are mentioned in the instructions. In short, for the money, its such an amazing light! ..even for uses beyond an aquarium. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Lots of lighting variations for happy fish!
I have now bought 2 of these lights for different sized tanks. What a game-changer! It is super-lightweight and the adjustable legs mean it should fit about any tank. It's easy to program, has an abundance of color choices, and allows you to adjust the brightness. It also turns on and off in stages instead of all at once. This has to be better for my fish. Highly recommend this light.

Broken after 14-16 months of use. Usually need to purchase these every year or so ....
Bought 2 of these The light worked well at the beginning and I liked the timer and spectrum settings with the LCD monitor. However, it broke after about 14 to 16 months of normal use. No drops, no water damage, just stopped working. For the price, I expected better durability. While it looks nice and the features are convenient, the lifespan was disappointing. I would recommend only if you are okay with replacing it after a year.
