This set of utensil has been great for my 1 year old to 2 year old. It has grown with her and still her preferred utensils. It's a right amount of thickness at the handles for her to grip and have control. The metal ends allow her to actually pick up food and stab food to pick up. But the fork end is not sharp. The chopsticks will be a little bit of time for her, but it can open and close and helpful with learning. The material is easy to clean and definitely sturdy. The container it comes in allows for packing in a baby bag to bring to a restaurant as travel set if desired.
