I stopped getting my nails done after COVID because I didn’t want to spend that money every other week. After 15 years of acrylics, I spent a lot of time trying to recover my nails—they’re still thin and need thicker polish. I still want to look put together without long nails or acrylics, so I’ve been experimenting with gel and builder gels, and this lamp is perfect for that! I recently purchased this SUNUV Gel UV LED Nail Lamp and it has completely transformed my at-home nail care routine – it’s like having a mini salon in my own home. (The box arrived bashed, but it was packaged by Amazon and their packing is hit or miss; the lamp works fine, though.) I used to do my manicures using gel nail polish with all of the steps that go along with that and as nice as they looked, it was a time-intensive routine. At the time, I owned a very expensive, high-end UV light and ended up selling it a few years ago when I just got tired of the routine. Fast-forward to now when I only just discovered semi-cured gel nail strips (what took me so long?!) and these have been a game changer. I love the huge variety of colors and patterns and designs and they’re so easy to apply. I know this lamp may be overkill for this specific application, but I don’t care – I love it! The mini lamp that comes with some of the nail strip kits is adequate, but having this lamp makes for a quicker cure and I can ensure that they’re cured well. The various timer settings are great, but I do wish they were displayed on the front or even side of the lamp. I keep it plugged in on my table and I always have to turn the lamp around to ensure I’m selecting the right timer. I know I could use the Smart Sensor technology where you just slide your hand in and the light goes on, but because I’m using nail strips, I prefer to adhere to the exact time specified in the instructions. I like that this lamp emits daylight non-ultraviolet light that’s supposed to be safer for the skin and eyes, but I still wear gloves as added protection. I don’t move it around much (other than to look at the timer setting), but it’s a lightweight design and can easily be moved around which is helpful when applying semi-cured gel nail strips on my toes. If you’re looking to elevate your nail care routine, this lamp is an absolute must-have at a very reasonable price.

I compared a lot of nail led lights and this one has the least bad reviews. It works really well, super bright and really strong. It almost feels like salon quality. I was pleasantly surprised. It does plug into the wall so idk if anyone is looking for a wireless one.

Its the right amount of wattage (48w) and has the mirror bottom... decent price for what you get and has a great amount of lights... over all a good product... I do wish for the price that it had just a small count down window for the price BUT cant complain because I bought it on sale for 39 lol... the most important thing is the 48w and the mirror bottom so it gets your thumbs better !!!!

Your search for a nail lamp is over! If you're like me, you have probably been doing hours of research and maybe even bought a few really bad lamps! I have been doing my own nails for about 8 years maybe even a year or 2 longer. I started using gel products about 4 or 5 years ago. During this time, I have done nonstop research trying to find a good lamp because it seems every lamp has good and really bad reviews. They are all so mixed so I finally would give in and just buy one and out of the MANY nail lamps I've bought I found 1 that worked well that I liked. Sadly, this nail lamp only lasted about 1 year and so the hunt was back on. I did so much research again and it seemed this one was always in the top 5 but most it was the top nail lamp from Amazon. I gave in and bought it. I was so pleasantly surprised. I love this lamp. It has a nice length cord. It cures EVERYTHING. I have poly gel, hard gel, gel polish, builder gel, ect all from many different brands and they all cured with no problem with this lamp. It also is set up so if you're taking clients or doing others' nails. It has an arm rest on the top and the buttons are on the back, The buttons on the back could also be a con if you're doing your own nails but once you click it a couple times you learn where the buttons are with no problem. It has motion detection. It has a reflective removable base. It is the perfect nail lamp. It is holding up great and I will definitely be back to update if anything changes and to let you know how long it lasted before I had to buy another. I love the fact that you can feel the warmth but it isn't too hot. My nails are thin, they always have been which is why I started wearing fake nails because my nails would rip nonstop and sometimes down to the skin where it was painful so I always have issues with it burning me or getting heat spikes but I haven't had that happen with this lamp. It has a slow lower heat curing option too for those clients that might experience heat spikes because of their nails like me however, I haven't even needed to use that option. I love the different time settings! Overall, an amazing lamp that is absolutely worth every penny! You will love this nail lamp! Back a year or 2 later to update: Nail lamp is still going strong! I use it multiple times a week hours at a time and it still cures great!

I love this lamp. I use the top for my hand as a little table. Works great. Cord is a decent length. The light seems strong but I didn’t bother to check the wattage. I can cure most polishes in 30 seconds. It’s a bit smaller than my last one which I actually like. The base is magnetic and comes on and off easily if needed. I am not a professional but this works well for me for my home use. I’m happy with my purchase!
