It's sturdy, coarse, stays clean, and looks awesome on my board. It's not for everyone, but it is as royal of a purple as it looks like in the photo. It was an easy stick and apply, and didn't have any problems with bubbles. I scored it and cut it easy on my 38" Atom pintail, which was really easy to do. It rides easily and I've never slipped off because of the grip tape before.
