One of my favourite things about the NeuroMyst are the electrodes, they are large and ensure that the targeted brain region receives the current, so you dont have to worry about being super accurate with electrode placement, which i find reassuring and convenient. One of the best things about NeuroMyst is their customer support, ive not come across better customer support for any product ive purchased before! They are a superior company! I am grateful to have come across NeuroMyst, I researched beforehand when looking for a TDCS device and NeuroMyst was the company that stood out to me by far. Im noticing great results and improvements with my mental health using the Pro unit and Im looking forward to the next upgrade, which will have even more functions and advanced settings! A: Good question! We updated our product description with the following: tDCS and tACS are non-invasive, safe techniques that pass a small electrical current across your scalp. These electrical currents help modulate activity in specific parts of the brain. Positive tDCS currents elevate brain activity, while negative currents lower activity. tACS oscillating currents generate different brain rhythms.

**Q: Where do I buy replacement sponges and electrodes**
A: We are working towards getting a trademark so that we can offer accessories on Amazon. Until then, accessories are sold separately on our website.

**Q: What kind of replacement sponges work with this unit - and where are they sold?**
A: NeuroMyst Pro comes with two sets of sponges (4x). Replacement sponges (10x) are sold separately on the manufacturer's website.

**Q: What is the conductive material that is mixed into the silicone electrode pads that the sponge contacts?**
A: Most tDCS devices use the same material as muscle stimulator pads. The black conductive material is medical-grade conductive carbon rubber.

Its a 2 in 1 device, as it features TACS functions as well as TDCS, which is one of the reasons why its the best device to buy for all your transcranial stimulation needs.
