It's very cool. Super sharp. Comes with lots of Xtra blades. Careful attaching that razor. When it's in place. It's curved,bends. Cut myself attaching it to handle. But it's all good. Get baking!

Bought the lame to score the bread for my new sourdough bread hobby. The lame is well made and inexpensive. It includes replacement blades and a thin leather cover to protect the blade. I didn't like the flimsy cover and wasn't comfortable with the mechanism for attaching the blades to the lame. The mechanism requires you to thread the lame through two openings of the blade, which requires you to be careful to avoid cutting yourself. I wanted a safer mount and found another lame that uses a single screw to attach the blade.

I lost mine to slash the sour dough bread. This one is much better than the one I had. Great price. Easy to grip. Durable ! And easy to hold the perfect size. Very light weight.

This seems to be exactly what I needed. Very easy to put together and with the little leather sheath for the blade it’s easy to store. Blade is very sharp and does the trick!

Perfectly as described, both in operative function and aesthetically.

The bread lame works, but it wasn’t quite as sharp as I expected. The blade also tends to come loose more easily than I’d like while using it. It’s usable, but I was hoping for a little better quality.
