Duvet Stays

These are absolutely great! We use duvet inserts inside duvet covers with loops on the ends, however, the insert invariably shifts around after the first night and slips to the end of the bed. I hate it! Consequently we’d end up being covered with just the duvet cover most of the night, with the insert pooled somewhere close to our feet. So I decided to try these since they don’t use a damaging hole through the fabric to use. I wasn’t expecting much from them but both my husband and I are pleasantly surprised. 1. The magnet is strong. I use it to secure the duvet inside the cover by fixing the magnet on the outside of the duvet cover on both sides. Despite the three layers of fabric and duvet insert, it’s strong and holds everything securely. Just a four pack is enough if you already have loops. However, I bought eight magnets so I just used them all by using two on each corner towards the cross ends. See pic. 2. The magnets don’t usually move during the night. Every now and then one of them will come off from my husbands side of the bed because he really tosses and turns like a hurricane in the night, but that’s about it. 3. As I said, they rarely come off, but if they do, since they are just magnetic buttons, they don’t hurt and are easy to reaffix. 4. Packaging is great. The little tin jar is perfect to store them when we don’t use duvets in summers. Con: I wish they came in more colors like grey and navy etc but nevertheless, they are amazing.

I am so glad I found this product. I finally bought a duvet cover for my down quilt but had no idea they slip around inside, so I went looking for a way to hold it in place. The options were stays with pins or magnets. Really glad I went with the magnets. I do wish there were more than 4 in a pack. I ordered 2 of them to have 8 and I needed all 8. These magnets are SUPER strong. I've been using them now for a few weeks and they are doing their job as intended. Good product.

Works well enough. The magnets are strong enough to hold the duvet and cover but can get knocked off by curious little hands.

I was about to give up on duvet covers. They look so nice once you get them in place but look so awful when they crumple up. I am so thankful to find such a simple solution! A set of 4 works great on my twin duvet so I bought another set for my king size duvet. My comforters are so thick that I had to move the duvet stays in from the corner in order for the magnet to work well. They are attractive and blend in with the colors that I have. I highly recommend this small price for ease and comfort.

I LOVE THIS. I paired these with the Fresh Ideas Padded Clips since I wanted to have options. I have these magnetic stays on the INSIDE of the duvet cover at all the corners and the padded clips are on the sides. I know the stays are marketed and shown to be on the outside of the duvet, but I can never get the duvet to be even once I burrito roll it out. I'm working with a king-size duvet and THREE layers (the duvet insert, a waterproof cover, and the duvet cover), the magnets on the stays are so strong that there's no issues at all holding all these layers together. You can't tell at all about the magnetic stays on the corners when looking in person either; nothing looks bunched up. Look at how evenly distributed the duvet is on my bed!! This pairing is a win!!

Magnets are not strong enough to stay on. They lasted one night and were lost after falling off. Literally useless. I don’t understand how anyone got these to stay.

Bought this item to use on my duvet cover. The item came in a designer tin and the magnets seem very well made and strong. However I found that if you don't have the magnets in just the right spot they do not stay. Any fluffing of the duvet and they come apart. Since the magnets are strong both peices find each other and are easy to retrieve. These are expensive compared to similar magnets/clips on the market at $15.00. Which I am guessing is partly because of how they are packaged. I do feel its a quality product once you figure out the best placement .

This is the first item like this I tried and it works very well! I love how POWERFUL the magnets are!! I also love the fabric cover so it’s not a cold or hard. It doesn’t work for all thicknesses, but with some readjusting, I did not have any fall off while sleeping (and I’m a cover-kicker.) The thicker image was too thick for the magnets and it fell off, but I placed them a little closer inwards, where it was thinner, and had no problems! The thinner image works wonderful. (Sorry for the not so great photos..)
