One of the best nail polishes I’ve ever used, color is beautiful, glides on so smooth and effortlessly, and with a top coat doesn’t chip for up to a week. Very impressed, will alway buy this color and this brand when I run out

Great quality nail polish. Beautiful color. Normal nail polishes chip after a couple of days but this brand can last a week.

Very pretty color, definitely looks like a Gel. Have just put in on over the weekend. So far, so good!

Pros: Durable: Did not begin to chip until about day 9-10. I’m going to try a touch up and see if I can make last 2 -3 weeks. There’s a strong possibility this could work. Kept my nails strong No clumps Good bottle size Color: I bought the nude lavender (can’t remember the name exactly) and it’s a pretty nude color. It can look grayish is some lights but definitely has some nude lavender in it. If you’re not into that grayish look you might not like this. Cons: Coverage : would like if the color were a bit more saturated/higher pigment density. I put 2 coats and really needed 3 in my opinion for a deeper, more saturated color (opaque)- especially on the ends of the nail. I would love to buy an ivory or nude pink color but reviews pretty much say the color is too sheer. Would love color options to be more opaque.

I used to get gel manicures at the salon every three weeks, but wanted to try moving back toward natural nails. I did some research and saw that this brand was popular for a gel-like appearance so I ordered two colors as well as the base coat. I was pleased with how easily it applies and how quickly it dries! Also, considering I purchased two lighter colors, the coverage was good and I only needed two coats. I will be purchasing more colors from this line.

These gel couture colors are some of my favorite. They last a very long time and look like I got my nails done at the salon!

I don't know what is the deal with this color (tassle free). I don't know if it's expired or fake but it peels immediately. I have several colors in this same product line and they last a 1-2 weeks (longer with 2-3 re-applications of clear top coat). Even with the top coat, I will start seeing it peel by day 2. I will apply another top coat and it will last 4 more days and I'll see the edges lift. Sad but it deters me from buying nail polish on Amazon. Will need to stick to buying them in person.

I apply a thin base coat and allow it to dry, followed by a thin coat of Essie Gel polish. I then wait approximately one hour before applying the second coat. The issue arises after the second coat is applied, as the polish remains soft throughout the entire day. Any contact leaves visible marks, and even something as simple as removing a card from my wallet can cause the polish to slide off completely. The polish does not fully harden until the following day, which is an unreasonably long drying time. Applying only one coat is not a viable option, as it results in a streaky finish with insufficient opacity.
