sticks well to my dash. Just needed a couple of screws protruding from bottom 2 holes to keep radio display (of my ICOM 2730) from sliding off. Otherwise, plenty of ways to adjust and tighten each direction of movement. Highly recommend.

Does NOT come with the flat plate, just the plastic mount and the screws. The pictures were a bit misleading although in fairness if you read EVERYTHING it does say it has to be ordered from Icom. I used mine for a Yaesu FTM-510. Yes I know they make one just for that radio. I wanted the option to add on some metal to fashion up a hanger for my mic, the extra screw holes on this were good for that, I just used one for the radio head. Mounted neatly in the center console of my 2018 Honda CRV in front of my cupholders. Zero drill installation, the 3m backing tape works great if you clean and prep the area you're mounting to THOROUGHLY.

I used this mount for my Icom 2730A in my pickup. It is adjusted so I can see the radio face perfectly.

Worth it!

There is a rather small spot on my Crosstrek just forward of the shift lever. This holder was just right for mounting the control head of the Icom ham radio. The rest of the radio went under the passenger seat. Did not use suction cups, small screws hold it better. It was nice to be able to adjust the angle for good visibility of the radio.

This mount came lose over a short period of time. When I tried to tighten it, I noticed it was cracked and starting to crumble on one side.
