DonJoy Performance POD ANKLE SUPPORT (White)

These are great for preventing painful ankle rolls. I've been using them for tennis and pickleball for years and have never turned my ankle (which I did almost annually at tennis before getting them). They are very easy to put on and go on quickly since there are no laces to tie. They are expensive but last a long time.

This DonJoy ankle brace securely holds my wobbly ankle in place in my shoe. I have only had it a couple of days and worn it one day so I'll have to add comments on how well it performs later. But for now I recommend it. I've worn the DonJoy POD brace for a few weeks now and love it although I've had a few problems too. First the brace is extremely light and I forget I have it on (that's a good thing), it's easy to put on and fit it onto my foot, easy to take off, and makes me feel secure when walking with it. One of the problems I have is my feet swelling so I have to be sure and check my ankle and loosen the velcro strap if that happens. I do have some difficulty with the brace being to large for some athletic shoes where it fits in the back heel areas of my shoe but can usually make it work. This brace does take some getting use to as does any brace but I wouldn't want to be without it. Thanks for thinking of a new way to make a brace that works without being so cumbersome. Keep up the good work.

I am missing cartilage on the outside of my right ankle. I'm pain free walking on level surfaces, but on uneven surfaces as in hiking, I often end up at the end of the day in pain and with inflammation. This product actually reduces this. Yes its not a cure-all, but it really has reduced my inflammation after a good hike. My initial concern was that the velcro wouldn't hold up, but after almost 2 years it still has binding power. Only giving it 4 stars because at $50 it still seems over priced. After all, it's just plastic and velcro.

The quality, design fit & material were subpar. This looked like it came from the dollar store. Do not recommend!

The device is well made, etc However it does not provide ankle support as the sides need to go higher

My daughter is in club volleyball. She absolutely loves her Don Joy ankle braces compare to many other brands we tried. Specifically because they are super easy to put on and take off (no laces) along with the feeling of protection and comfort. She purchase her second set this year 2025 and usese her 2024 versions for practice. We purchased the medium size as my daughter's shoe size is 9 in women's size. She has crushed a few feet this last season and so far no injuries to report. Also, it did take her about 5 practices to get use to them but now she can't play without them. I definitely recommend this product if you're looking for a modern look, simple to put on take off, and offers exceptional protection.

Love it , i have an extremely high instep, so a little tight on off but does what i hoped for, alot of support for worn ankle ligaments, so stretch there is no pain , but ankle turned easily , this product gives true real support without impeding desired movements

This is a very well constructed ankle brace. It comes in a very fancy and presumably expensive box (which is unnecessary). the brace itself works very well and is adjustable with velcro straps on the bottom and at the back of the brace. I have not twisted my ankle once wearing this brace. It does add a little thickness to your foot when you place it in the shoe but over time the shoe expands to accommodate it. It is slightly thicker than soft material braces but the thickness reinforces your ankle. I would buy this item again.
