I have literally no complaints and again, will continue to shop with this brand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality-- lovely subtle shimmer, just don't use gel pens *by M***A on February 27, 2023* Love these envelopes, the subtle shimmer and fairly neutral Crystal Metallic color means this will go with about any color palette you want to work with. They're sturdy and appropriately sized as advertised. The adhesive backing is good quality as well. I really appreciated the reviews mentioning smudge issues, so in the spirit of being helpful (and cautious) I did an ink test across a few different pens I had lying around: 2 different width pens with archival ink, one ballpoint (oil-based) ink, and one gel ink. I did a 5-second, 1-minute, and 5-minute smear test with these pens. I can understand why some people were frustrated and others had no issues. You can see the results for yourself in the picture, but basically-- don't use gel ink on these envelopes. Ballpoint almost never smudged, but I don't think it looked as nice as the archival ink (which barely smudged either). Ballpoint was just a little too thin and maybe because there's a very subtle texture to the envelope's finish, the letters I wrote occasionally faded a little.
