This arm pillow saved me so much after having surgery on my hand. I had to keep my arm elevated for nearly a month after to control the swelling. This pillow was so soft and comfortable. It was a lifesaver and still is during a very uncomfortable time during me healing process. The wrist relief was great and supports your arm very well. This pillow did not cave, it is very sturdy and very soft. Highly recommend this if you have to have surgery to keep your arm elevated to your elbow. It also made sleeping so much more comfortable. If I could give more stars, I would.

Following hand surgery, this wedge has been exactly what I have needed to keep my hand supported and elevated. The angle has been just right for me, allowing blood to flow (not too steep), while also keeping my shoulder relaxed and comfortable. Easily portable, so great to use in bed, while sitting in a recliner, and at my computer desk. Trough for my arm and hand is wide enough to allow use of ice packs, but narrow enough to give good support from elbow to fingertips. I highly recommend this item.

I recently had carpel tunnel and cubital tunnel surgery and my doctor recommended elevating my arm. But pillows and cushions didn’t keep their shape and my arm always slid off so I purchased this elevate pillow and it’s been working perfectly for me ever cents. When I say perfectly I mean the shape doesn’t change the rest has a divot in it for my arm to be placed in and so my arm doesn’t roll off and it’s contoured in a way to prevent easy removal while I sleep. Every time I go to a physical therapist or back to my doctor‘s office they asked me where I purchased this pillow at and could I provide them with the link because so many of their patients need a pill like this but simply can’t find it. Even once my hand healed after surgery sometimes I still use it to keep my arm elevated to continue to help with the healing of my nerves. It also prevents me from curling my hand up in a way that would aggravate my nerves in my wrist. It’s a great find in a great bye I highly recommend.

This wedge is flexible, and comfortable. It comes with a cover that you can take off and wash. I love this wedge.

So I was excited to get this pillow because my hand and wrist area were still swelling after breaking my wrist. Well, it didn't go up high enough or in a way that was comfortable for me... Thankfully I had already purchased a smaller foam neck pillow from Aldi for $10 to help elevate my arm. So there's 2 ways you can use this for sleeping... put something underneath to make your arm go up higher so that it's at the correct angle for comfort. Also, if you're a part-time or mostly side sleeper (like I am) you can turn it onto its side and it's more comfortable, especially if you use 2 pillows to elevate your head. It also works well if you're in a recliner chair, to set it on the armrest to elevate your arm and that's very comfortable and helps the swelling stay down. Once you're no longer swelling, this is still very helpful to alleviate pain and tingling that sometimes occurs with the nerves after breaking a bone. It alleviates general blood pressure to the area as well. Overall, this has been very useful... I've had this since the day I got my cast on, over 3 weeks ago, and am still using it every night and often during the day too. Very plush and comfortable. The elevation is perfect. Highly recommend.

The only part of your arm that is elevated above your heart when using this pillow is your wrist. It makes my broken elbow comfier when I’m sleeping but that’s it. It does not elevate it enough. If you have a broken wrist it’s perfect for elevating that. Just not a broken elbow.

My husband has had 12 reconstructive hand surgeries and was finally released from the hospital. I purchased this pillow and I'm glad I did! We put a flat pillow underneath and a soft blanket over the top to give extra padding and it has done its job. Its a little expensive but worth it.

Excellent quality! I've been using pillows and keep waking up because my arm slides off periodically. This is amazing the arm independent makes it so my arm stays in place all night and the elevation is the perfect amount!

This arm support cushion is pretty much as described/pictured, except that is has no handle (like is shown in the pictures and mentioned in the description). The missing handle is something we were hoping to use to hold it in place and prevent it from sliding away while in use. The material is 'silky' as they describe, which is nice and comfy but also makes it slippery, both on the arm, and on the surface the cushion is sitting on, so it can become frustrating to use (especially with no handle to use to strap it to something to hold it still) with having to frequently pull it back into position. That is an even bigger issue when sleeping. The cushion returned to good size and shape fairly quickly after unpacking, and there is minimal smell/odour. The overall size and shape is good, lots of extra space for the arm. I would recommend this, but you should keep in mind some way of stopping it from sliding around, such as velcro made to stick to fabric, or sewing a handle/loop onto the cover so a strap or tie can be used to hold it in place on whatever you rest it on.

this pillow did not expand fully, leaving ne side flat. defeats the purpose of having a cupped top profile.

Used it following surgery of a broken foot as well as surgery on my hand and it worked well for both these situations.
