Thule Ski & Snowboard Rack Carrier

Works great. Easy to install. Fit four pairs of skis without any problem. And although the picture shows only one rack, it does come with two.

I managed to put five sets of skis with no issues, and am pretty sure a sixth ski would have fit. The locking mechanism allows two positions which is a very nice feature for thicker skis/bindings. They key can stick trying to get it in, but I would consider that a minor issue. My original shipment from Rack Attack was damaged and almost certainly used. However, their customer service was A+. They immediately told me to return it, and when I ordered the replacement, their customer service rep (Justin) personally packed the item and had it sent to me overnight. This shipment was perfect, brand new and zero complaints. Highly recommend both Thule as well as Rack Attack.

This ski rack has been fantastic this season. I have used it multiple times and my skis have always been safe and secure. I love that it has a locking feature that allows me to leave my car and skis in a public place and not worry about them being stolen. They were very easy to install to my roof rack and easy to use after for the skis. It was also nice that they were cheaper than the official website.

A good, reliable mount—exactly what I’ve come to expect from Thule. After two seasonf of use with a large number of skis, I haven’t had any issues with the locks or the rubber; everything works perfectly.

This ski rack was super simple to install—it went right onto my car’s crossbars with few tools, and it fits really well. It holds my skis securely, even on long drives, and feels very sturdy overall. The only downside I’ve run into is with the lock. After driving in wet snow, water got into the keyhole and ended up freezing overnight. It made it tough to unlock the next morning, which was frustrating in the cold. Still, it does its job well—I’d just recommend keeping some lock de-icer on hand.

Super easy solution for getting around with multiple boards/skis. Although tough to maybe see, I could easily fit a total of one snowboard and three pairs of skis. Only watch out is for anyone who's shorter, I recommend always putting a snowboard (if applicable) in first. With a short wingspan, putting in a pair of skis in the furthest/first spot makes it very tough to get them out. I had to open my sunroof to push them closer to the edge so I could reach them. Putting in a snowboard first and then the skis is a solid option and allows me to optimize the full rack.

I purchased the Thule ski rack along with the Brightline's Aero cross bars from Amazon and the fit was fine between the two products. I was going to buy the cheaper brand of ski rack's found on Amazon, but decided not to as the cheaper brands had high ratings from reviewers that had used them on one or two ski trips and lower ratings from consumers who used them frequently. I ski many times per year, every year, and would like a product that will last more than one trip or one season. I was not aware when I purchased them, but when the product arrived, it had a limited lifetime warranty. I do not plan on keeping the racks on the car for the majority of the year so I plan on taking the cross bars off and keep the racks attached to the cross bars. I would not want to take the racks on and off frequently from the cross bars, as you must do them with the enclosed hex wrench and it would be laborious and time consuming.

Easy to install, easy to use. Quality. Classic Thule.

We love this ski rack for our ski trips to the hills. Ours hold an adult snowboard and two sets of skis without any issues. I love the quality of Thule products and will continue to purchase them for all our outdoor adventures. For the price, you get an amazing product with this Ski/Snowboard Rack. If you are thinking hard about this product, you will be happy, unless you need to travel with 6+ skis/snowboards. Enjoy :)

I used Thule ski rack before on my Honda Odyssey. On my new BMW X5 I still chose this ski rack because of its good quality. The only minor issue is the bolts used to attach the rack to the cross bar are a little bit short. It would be better if it can provides two set of bolts. (longer and shorter)
