Perfect, portable, and functional spice dispenser
As others have stated this is a very user friendly spice dispenser. Comes with the 3 colors shown, extra o-rings, and funnel for easy loading of various spices. Powdered garlic, or powdered chili works very well so other powdered substances should work well too. Gives even metered amount, no issues with leaking that I can tell(carried it all day today while camping), these are small and portable fits in your pocket with no issue of accidently turning the dial by mistake and losing your spices. Look no further for a discreet, durable and well priced spice dispenser capable of handling breakfast seasoning at a festival all weekend, or camping and cooking out all weekend.

These are good ones, better quality than what is sold in the shops

Wow. Waaay better...
Than older styles. No leakage. Easy to use. Quality. The ONLY thing stopping this from being perfect is the lack of a desiccant or another method of preventing moisture, or a tool to break up any clumps. I believe that a small desiccant fitted into the lid that screws on would be ideal. If you live in Florida or visit beaches it will clump up quickly and isn't usable for much more than storage. Just a thought! Aside from that it's awesome for "On-the-go" seasoning...I would have to agree with others. The dial and concave notch are not ideal in low-light. Also, if you have spilling problems, you might have gotten a bad one or you are doing something wrong. I only had this happen ONCE when the dial got tugged out accidentally.

Leak-Proof Actually Done RIGHT !!
I cannot stop singing praises for these little gems! If you’re in the market for this sort of thing, these are DEFINITELY the ones you want. I’ve used many different variations of this concept over the years, and these are FINALLY done right! They are ACTUALLY leak-proof. The carb is drilled offset, so that it’s only open when the dispensing chamber is in the upward, “ready” position. So if they leak for you, it’s most likely user error. (Because, yes, obviously, something may leak from the carb IF you have the dispensing chamber loaded AND tip the bottle toward the side of the carb hole. But… maybe don’t do that.) With just a little common sense, and a basic understanding of how powder behaves in relation to open holes, you can tuck these bottles into a pocket or bag, and rest assured your contents will remain secure. This design means they can also be comfortably operated with only one hand. And as an added bonus, the package includes 2 appropriately-sized funnels, and several replacement o-rings for both the seal at the bottom cap, and the seal around the dispensing knob. Even the texture of the semi-matte finish is silky, and just lovely to the hand. The ONLY potential drawback I can find is that the amount dispensed with each turn of the knob is relatively small (about 25- 30mg. Which might be a *positive* for those concerned with ‘portion control’) But an extra, arrow-shaped knob, with a larger dispensing well, (about 50mg) was included with *my* order, as well (ymmv). And one can easily enlarge the well on the others, in seconds, with a dremel, if that’s something that matters.

Too small
Chamber way too small

Skip.
Wanted to like these but were useless. The scroll wheel on the side is held in by just an o-ring. So if you put the slightest pressure off center, the whole wheel pops out. One wheel would fall out just tipping to the side, even after replacing the o-ring. Had a problem with spices getting cakey & stuck in the main compartment too. Maybe there’s better versions but this is not it. One star because the item itself seems durable & is basically a jar now.

Excellent Container
These worked very well and I wish they were still available for purchase.

THey dont leak!!
Shocked that they dont leak! No more spilled salt at the all nighter dinner parties. Seriously, it's about time someone fixed the issue. Only complaint they could easily address is the knob is impossible to see in the dark and would be nice if it was formed like an arrow or something you can feel so you know the dispenser is lined up so you can have your salt incognito. I also think every one of them should have the engraving "not for use with cocaine" so people don't get the wrong idea

Most of the spice/snuff dispensers on here are machined poorly and contain metal shavings that could cause serious harm. These appear to be machined quite well with properly fitting parts. The fit and finish is pretty good. They also give you extra O-Rings and comes in a nice little decorative box. My only complaint is that the "dial/knob" is hard to see. It might be worth engraving an arrow with a Dremel.

The machining left burs and metal flakes cover the needed holes. The air flow hole leaves the transfer chamber with the potential to constantly lose product. I would get the other more expensive (45 for 3) black ones, I buy them often and they work well. These are clearly cheaper.
