StewMac Comfort Grip Guitar String Cutter

Best I found for my self learned luthier in me.

A bit pricey so I hope it is worth the money. So far so good. There are already marks on it after the first use so I hope it is just the paint that came off. Will see how long it will last and if the lifetime warranty is true.

Very disappointed. The cutters were marred and misaligned after the first use (cutting guitar strings) and they barely work after just a few guitars. I buy everything from stew Mac because they often make high quality products, but I was wrong this time. Buy Knipex instead.

I tried many premium string cutters and these came out on top. They are the closest to flush cut as I could find. Expensive but if you want a flush cut to trim your strings at the post this is for you. You get what you pay for.

Struggles a bit on the E and B string on bass. Would recommend for guitar.

Good quality, and cuts through guitar strings with ease.

Solid, work well, probably paid a little more for wire cutters.. but hey thats StewMac
