The book really features the twenty innovative and easy-to-make learning tools that reinforce key concepts learned in class. It also includes a CD with 3-D graphic organizers and you can customize all material. In my opinion, this is one of the most interesting points, because it helps us, teachers, saving time when preparing lesson plans. The 3-D Graphic Organizers help teachers and students, because they are not too complicated (most of them need only scissors and tape to construct and a pen or pencil to complete). Simple and few additional commom items are required as: double-sided tape, stapler, string, colored markers, brads, hole punch, straightedge, photocopy of the templates). If you want to costumize and save files on the CD, you will need to use Adobe Reader, version 7.0 or higher. All the projects in this book are divided across the content areas - reading and language arts, social studies, math, and science. At page 9, you will find an "assessment rubric" as well. Every sample project page brings these features: - objectives; - time required; - materials; - introduction; - what-to-do; - extend - ways to use across the curriculum and - how-to-construct. Motivation not only for students but for teachers too! Fabulous! I recommend this book for those teachers who want to help their students build important and independent skills. Five Stars! Easy to read and implement. I like that there are ideas included too. Images help with the suggestions for use, as well as my own ideas.

This book has some really neat ideas for foldables. I love that it comes with a CD to easily print the pages and there are tons of ideas and uses for the pages in the book. They are easy to use and my students love them!

You can find a book and go through it and find maybe one or two ideas you can use but not here. There are multiple GO one can use. I have at least 5 other books and multiple online sources for graphic organizers but this is the best. The GO are foldable and requires a bit of cutting which kids love to do. They are quick to put together and an effective learning tool. Thank you for this book. Plus this book comes with a CD that allows you to customize the GOs. God bless America! Worth every penny and then some.

I was real excited for this book to come, and there are definitely some good teaching ideas. Unfortunately, many of the ideas seem to me like a waste of time for students to put energy into. There are a few authentic ideas which I have used, but there are also many projects that are so art driven that the actual learning and writing gets watered down.

This is a nice addition to the home school experience. It makes plain old text-book and writing more interesting. Using concepts from one of my child's science lessons, and using one of the templates from the 3-D book gave us tools to create a game and she aced the lesson. There's a whole bunch of different templates to use, and not just for academia. Be as creative as you want!

This was a great resource for all grades at our school. Very easy to follow.

I am always looking for new, innovative ideas to use in my classroom...I have recently implemented notebooking into my high school Science curriculum...the ideas in this book can be transformed into interesting activties that the children enjoy...

My year 7s love the person pop up when I give them someone to research. I'm sure the rest of lower school will love it too.
