this product works great on plastic model decals. It helps maintain the position of the decals and helps keep them free from damage by sealing them. It is durable and reliable. I have used it on my models and have never had any problems with it. It is easy to use and cleanup is easy, just rinse the brush and let it dry. The solution has 2 types, setting and softening which helps to set the decals and to have them conform to curved surfaces. It will also remove decals for those times when a mistake is made. I recommend this to modelers who want help with decal setting.

Worked for waterslide decals on an antique sewing machine.

If you are looking for a quick and easy way to improve your plastic models this is it. When used properly the decals adhere to surfaces better than ever and applying decals to curved surfaces or over details like rivets or welds is easily accomplished. Almost as good as painting decals on. Go one more step and add an overcoat of gloss or matte clear and you just upped your game. These bottles will last a long time and there are ample tutorials on many websites. An essential for serious modelers and an easy way to upgrade your work. Arrived on time and undamaged.

This stuff is a must if you work on models. Set part 1 sets the water slide in place well and sol part 2 softens it nicely. Makes application very easy and works really well!

Le produit en lui même est peut être bon (beaucoup de peintre sur miniatures le recommandent) mais le rapport quantité/prix est une belle arnaque. N'achetez pas ça, vous recevrez non pas une bouteille de ce produit, mais 2 mignonnettes de quelques millilitres chacunes. (Voir photo). Le tout pour un prix variable de 20 a 90€.

Funcionan bien

After 40+ years of on-again, off-again model kit building this is my first purchase of a so-called decal softener. I read the reviews here & on other sites & decided to try it out as I was building a kit for a friend's son & wanted to put in a decent effort. Product took ages to arrive from the US, but when it did, what a let-down. Sure, the effect is better than not using anything, but it's far from world-beating & in some areas only marginally better. Even with surface preparation, I had to use multiple coats to get a reasonable effect. There's enough solution to probably last me until my final project on this mortal coil, as I've got around 100 unbuilt kits in the stash & most decals are a pretty minute affair. Disappointed as I did believe the hype. Given a second chance, I'd probably go for the Vallejo or Revell product.
