Waterpik ultra replacement pik pocket tip

I love these Waterpik ultra replacement pik pocket tips. I have a couple of dental bridges and crowns. The dentist says to floss under them but no matter how many times I floss it seems like I cannot get under them clean. Not only does the flossers not clean well but they usually irritate the gums and make them bleed, I got a Waterpik for Christmas last year and thought that was the greatest invention ever to clean my teeth and gums. Then one day I was browsing Amazon for replacement tips and saw these. I ordered them right away and could not wait to get them. When they arrived I could not wait to try them that night when I brushed and flossed. Wow, do I ever love these things. I brushed and flossed as usual then tried one of these ( you get two) piks. The water is restricted so you get a fine blast of water. I was amazed, at how clean my teeth felt. It was able to get under the bridges and really clean all the debris that the flosser missed. I will admit this made my mouth bleed just like the regular floss when I first started using them, but after a few times, there is no more bleeding. I think I may have irritated the gums under the bridges with the old thread flosser because since using these there is no more soreness. I love the fact that you get two in a pack. I gave one to my husband to use and I kept the other one. The only thing I can recommend to improve these would be if they came with some sort of storage tube or case. Overall, these are great and I highly recommend them.

A few months ago my hygienist said I should try the little ‘pik pocket’ tips that come with your Waterpik, and my tooth health has been transformed! My plaque buildup and pocket depth have been reduced dramatically, and I highly recommend these to anyone who likes really clean teeth up “under there“. But pay attention to the warning label and start at the easiest setting, so you don’t injure yourself! You will be amazed how clean your teeth feel at the gumline if you use these twice a day. I bought more for two reasons - I like to give them to my friends, and I like to keep them fresh. Another thing I do is use distilled water exclusively in my waterpik, so it never gets gunky or full of mineral deposits, and lasts much longer

It works on low power, and does get in the hard to get to places. I feel the regular heads, that mine comes with works better

Have been using these for awhile on recommendation from my dentist and am reversing past gum damage. Usage guaranteed to put a smile on your hygienist's face!

I recently purchased a water pik upon the advice of my dental hygienist to be used on one troublesome tooth with the beginnings of "pockets" at the gum line. The standard tips that came with the device released the water with so much force - even at the lowest setting - that the process was agony. Additionally, I think that the excessive force was doing more harm than good. These pocket tips reduce the force of the water and make doing a thorough irrigation of the area a comfortable experience. I highly recommend the product.

The Pik's are as described but when shipped, they were shipped as it had been opened with a box cutter and then placed in the box for shipping. I did not send them back since I did a self sterilization on both pik's and felt confidant that it did the job. These pik's fit the machine as described and with very little effort to insert or remove. No leakage from the waterpik it'self, looks and functions as the original product. I highly recommend the replacement pik's especially if you have other members in your household who will also benefit from the use of this product..

This was recommended by my hygienist. It does the job once you've had a bit of practice and work out how best to use it. Teeth certainly feel cleaner and fresher. being able to swivel the head is a good idea too. On the down side it would better if the on/off button was touch sensitive: if you don't remember to switch off before removing it from your mouth you spray the whole room. But that's a minor gripe, overall I'm very pleased with it and much prefer to use this rather than conventional flossing thread.
