Absorbent, 25 lb., Diatomaceous Earth

Bought it for chickens to dust bathe in. They won't use it unless it is mixed into dirt type dust. I think is irritates their lungs if I just dump it into their dust bath area right on top. Their excessive grooming has stopped and the red bugs that were bothering them are gone. This 25 pound bag is the best bang for your bucks.

Best price I could find anywhere for this size. Prime shipping helps. Spread 3 bags on 3000 sf of lawn to kill chiggers, seemed to work, no one bit for all of August

It works, but not as good as diatomaceous powder forms that can get into the smallest cracks to suck up everything. I'm sure there are powders at the bottom of the bag.

Just what they offered. Just what I wanted. Go figure. Not powdered DE dust, this is granular DE for oil absorption. Turns out I use it for my lawn, but this is what was advertised.

please not this is calcined DE and contians crystallinie silica, which is a respritory nightmare. Do not use on chickens pets or indoor pest control. You need food grade, not this type. This is a fine product if you use it the right way!
