I bought an iCarez matte screen protector for my iPad Pro, and it worked so well that I wanted to buy one for my new iPad mini. However it wasn't in stock, so I purchased two other matte screen protectors instead. (I bought from two different brands hoping that at least one of them would work for me.) I hated both of them. They felt like sandpaper, and it made the screen look grainy, and they weren't very smudge proof. Drawing on them felt nice, but the screen felt so rough that I kept wanting to peel it off. I bought the iCarez matte screen protector once it was in stock, and thankfully it's the same material as the one I got for my iPad Pro. The matte texture feels nice to write on compared to writing on the iPad's bare glossy screen, yet it's still smooth and not sandpaper-y like the other screen protectors I tried. As with any matte screen protector, there is a subtle drop in visual quality. If that matters to you, you shouldn't get a matte screen protector (maybe get a tempered glass screen protector instead if you want to protect your screen while maintaining visual quality). But if you like to draw on a paper-like screen, and if you hate smudges like me, consider getting an iCarez matte screen protector. iPads smudge so easily, and I hate having to constantly clean the screen. With a matte screen protector, the screen doesn't smudge, so I don't have to clean the screen anymore. I initially bought matte screen protectors for the paperlike feel, but not having to worry about smudges is my favorite feature hands down. (It still technically smudges, but you can barely see it, and you have to hold it next to the light to notice it.) Next time I get a new tablet, I'm not going to bother with any other brand and just get another iCarez matte screen protector. I wasted money on crappy screen protectors when I should have just waited to buy the iCarez one. 😞

Overall, great quality for the price. I have used it to sign documents and draw and it really feels like paper. Though it doesn’t bother me, the screen does look very grainy and can affect the quality of your videos. However, its anti-glare feature make it stand out from other types of screen stickers, which is perfect for me!

worth the money as you get 3 protectors. performs very well with the apple pencil. no fingerprints at all and absolutely NO GLARE!! looks very clean and good. aligns with the ipad very good and size is amazing as it fits very well. although, i don’t understand how people say the texture is “paper like”

Do you mount your iPad in the plane and get occasionally blinded by the 100,000 lumens of the sun beaming back at you from your iPad screen? Then this product is for you! This was a welcome addition to my iPad for my flying, and has lasted for multiple years. No air bubbles, very easy to install. Fit was perfect and I love how your finger just glides along the surface of the screen. I've never had any issues with the screen's responsiveness.

It fits the mini perfectly and was fairly easy to install. I only recommend that you install it either in the bathroom or the kitchen to avoid dirt floaties which I found out while researching how to install it.

Perfect for my iPad Mini 6! For this 72-year old geezer, the screen reduces the glare beautifully. Makes reading and writing (with my Apple Pencil 2) joyful. My experience is that the colors remain wonderful when viewing video content. I’m also a huge ice hockey fan, and the screen has reduced the glare from the ice significantly. So it has made watching a hockey game so much better for me. Your experience may differ, but I am “pleased as punch” with this product! I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the weak magnets. I haven’t experienced this at all. In fact, I’m so happy with this screen that I purchased one for my iPad Pro 12.9” (2018). Here, too, the magnets work fine. Also, for the iPad Pro 12.9”, the Zugu Case doesn’t cause any issues: the screen fits perfectly. (I did not get a Zugu Case for the Mini.) Ladies and gentlemen, for this old-timer, this product easily gets 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Installation method is good in concept but difficult in practice. The screen slides while hinges are installed so alignment is difficult.
