Really beautiful. Looks very expensive

this journal is the most gorgeous one I have ever seen on this site. the only issue is that the stone in the middle isn't blue, its a tan/ light brown color. otherwise, the quality is amazing, the paper is amazing, everything is amazing and I will be buying it again when the journal comes back in stock.

As a clinical psychologist (in training) I always encourage my clients to journal and to write. They view the task as tedious and exasperating and at times, especially in the beginning, do not understand the benefits. Since purchasing this item, I have noticed an increase, and overall joy in the journaling process. I would like to assume it’s because of the craftsmanship, beauty, and charm that this item holds.

Great product

I like everything abut the journal except the stone. I thought I would get a beautiful large blue stone like the one in the picture above. When it came, it had a very small dark stone the same color as the leather. I had bought one for my daughter for Christmas from a different vender and the same thing happened. The stone was also small and dark. I like the journal, but if you are going to sell something and show it with a beautiful stone, then you should send the same journal with the same stone as in the picture.

Absolutely beautiful, I've had this book for quite some time now. I haven't wrote in it yet. I want to practice coligrophy to write in it. Enough pages for a lot of things I want to write down. I would definitely want to give this for a friend as a gift, but this one is mine.

Misread the description, expected something much larger in a 11x8.5" format, my bad. Paper seems of reasonable quality for what it is meant for. Otherwise, the "gem" is very cheesy plastic from what I can tell, and not even clear through and through. Front page was damaged by insides of the cover, both dye leakage and pressure imprints of leather lace work holding the "gem panel in place. Suggest the manufacturer includes some sort of liner or backing to inner front cover to prevent this. Locking latches appear to be cast plastic or some light pot metal material, but are properly placed and functional. Embossing of cover design in the leather is incomplete and fades in several areas due to insufficient pressure applied when embossing. Over all the product is mediocre in quality. Can not determine durability as I just got it. I would not gift this, I would not even purchase if better description and photos were available on item page. Anyway, these are my initial impressions ans observations of the item. Will not be returning it as I find returning items to be a hassle and not worth the time and effort for items like this.

This was brought as a gift for my son who is an artist. He loved the texture and size of this journal which he can take with him and pull it out when it is needed. He also enjoyed the uniqueness of the stone on the cover.
