The device is safe and once you assemble all the parts, then you can lay down and start using it. I can say that it is better than the device in the clinic because this machine will provide straight and 0 degree angle with your body. The machine in the clinic usually pull you with 45 degree wich is not surfing the purpose. You need to stretch yourself for 10 to 15 seconds and relax for 15 to 20 seconds, you can repeat this for 7 to 10 times . Also you can cold blanket or wrap on your back after the exercise . . I will help to reduce the pain.
