But that apparently does not apply to other weight or length versions of this bat. Your kids coach or umpires may not know the nuance that drop -11 bats are still ok and end up harassing your kid. This is a good bat. It can end up vibrating like any other bat but I feel it's a good bat for my son to get around quickly and thump the ball with. After having it for half the season I dont think it performs any better than bats half it's price but definitely better than the lowest end Eastons. The whole idea being USA certification is to have metal or composite bats that perform similarly to wood. That means no more drop -13 bats and bats that have insane "pop" like before. That means that the performance gap between mid tier and too tier bats has shrunk. So I give this bat 5 stars but the next level down version of this bat gets 5 stars too and it's over $100 cheaper and won't raise any eyebrows because of the 30/20 decertification.
