Very handy to have as sometimes I like to use different masks or nasal pillows to avoid rash on my face and around my nose. It does bypass the AirMini humidifier because it attaches the standard mask directly to the hose and the humidifier is attached to the AirMini mask. Initially, I couldn't get it to stay attached. You just need to push the two parts together when you twist. An added advantage... if you happen to forget or lose the humidifier part when traveling, this little part can come in handy. I think it is easier to get spare masks for a standard hose.

UPDATE July 2025: After relatively few uses the adaptor cracked in several places. The product page shows a white adaptor which gives the impression it is a flexible fit adaptor. In fact it is rigid clear plastic. Pushing the mask connector into the open end will put stress on the adaptor and crack it. Needs to be thicker or a rubberized piece. One thing I dislike about Resmed products is that they are not interchangeable. I have a full size Resmed Air 10 and an Air Mini. You can't use the former masks with the latter. This adaptor lets me use my new F40 mask with my air mini. Don't know why Resmed doesn't include one of these with their masks. It fits well but it is rigid plastic so you'll need to handle with care so you don't crack it.

Great item

Same complaint as other reviews, the nozzle clicks in but it leaks air. Only had it a couple nights but it hasn't broken yet. Unfortunately with the leak it causes it to be noisy so I had to put a strip of electrical tape around the hose and the piece to stop it from leaking. If it didn't leak it'd be an easy five stars from me but with how it is currently, it's a three star.

This would be 5 stars if one could connect the humidifier adapter.

Needed this to adapt by ResMed AirMini tubing onto my ResMed AirSense 11 elbow. The AirMini elbow, due to it's design, makes a loud hissing sound during use which is quite annoying to me. This works much better.

The adapter itself fits the special airmini hose - the side that is intended to attach to the airmini mask. It's a bit snug and the locking ring on the airmini hose does need to be twisted with a moderate amount of force, but it works and is secure. The other side is where the problem is. In my case my mask has a hard connector and it needs to attach directly to this adapter. So there are basically two rigid connectors that need to interface to each other. Getting a secure fit that does not leak requires using a moderate amount of force for the two side to connect - and that is where the problem happens. The plastic on the adapter is rather thin and cracks easily. NOTE - This is the second review I have submitted for this product - the first similar one was flagged as inappropriate.

Does what it says it does

I didn't like the mask that came with the machine this allowed me to use my existing mask (mirage quatro) with the machine.

Title says it all. Leaks badly, fittings badly molded I guess. My CPAP reported a terrible leak number both nights I tried it and you can feel the air whistling from it.

Item is as advertised. Arrived on time and well-packaged.
