I bought a used old beach cruiser bike that needed a new kick stand. The old one was worn out and would not hold the bike up. I am restoring this bike now swapping out anything chrome on it to black. So swapping out the kick stand to this one was perfect in that regard. Its very sturdy and a nice and simple kick out locking mechanism that also folds up easily and stays put. The best part is the adjustability of it. My bike is 26" so it didn't take long to adjust the hight exactly where wanted it so the bike had a nice subtle lean without tipping. Its simple to adjust yourself but difficult for it to adjust mishaphazardly on its own. So you don't have to worry about it collapsing on accident. It's made of some kind of alloy which seems strong enough. I wouldn't expect it to bare my weight along with the bike but the bike itself is no issue for it. Also it can be mounted two different ways and hardware for both is included. My cruiser had the mounting plate on the frame so I simply needed to bolt it straight on. Though also there is a bracket clamp plus a longer hex style bolt for those with frames that don't have a dedicated mounting plate. Either way it is easy to mount and use. It looks slick and really functions the way its intended. I highly recommend it for your bike too!

Easy install. Fit is sturdy and stable. Doesn't get in the way of operating the bike in any way. I especially like the feature of extending the kickstand, especially for young adults. This is a kickstand that you can take off and put on another bike if needed, because of that feature. Compatible with any bike. If you are unsure of this stand in particular, know that your decision is about looks vs functionality. This one works fine and comes with tools needed for install. Do yourself a favor and buy an Allen Key wrench set with a handle if you don't already have one. You'll use it again on similar projects in the future.

Edit: I just went to the hardware store to buy another longer bolt to fit this kickstand to a different bike. It was a 3/8-16 bolt. I used a 2.5" bolt for the new bike, since the included ones were not long enough. Prior to buying this kickstand, I was never really satisfied with the generic kickstands sold with bikes. They tended to be either too tall or too short with no real way to adjust them. Changing tires (from a rugged tire to a street slick) would alter the height of the bike, thus making the generic kickstand unstable. This kickstand is really amazing. First off, it is relatively light weight at 0.66 pounds total. Most other sturdy stands weigh double that, if not more. Second, the adjustability is super easy. Press a tab, move the adjustable section to the desired height, and set. No bolts or complicated mechanisms. Another selling point to me was the length. This will fit 24" wheels up to 29" wheels. The kickstand easily fit my 29er mountain bike and felt very sturdy because I could adjust the height precisely. To many, putting a kickstand on a high dollar bike is unholy, but to me, its a useful feature. I've had bikes fall when they were leaning against something. Never had a bike fall due to this kickstand. I've put this on my road bike now, and its so worth having. Dropping a high dollar carbon bike sucks, not to mention damaging the frame or components. This prevents that thought from even existing. To the real mountain bikers out there, I've taken this on trails and some sizeable drops, and the stand never came down once. The mechanism is so solid and makes a very confirming click when you extend or retract it. It also works perfectly on the roads with a road bike. No noise or jostling. To summarize, this kickstand is rock solid, will fit most bikes on the market, can be easily adjusted without any tools, and works amazingly well even on mountain trails. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one for every bike I own simply because of the ease of adjustment and how good of a stand this is. If you are on the fence about buying this, don't think twice. And the included bolt(s) can be replaced with sizes that you need with a stop to the local hardware store. 3/8-16 was the bolt that I got, in 2.5" to be precise. *Package included both a standard hex bolt and an allen bolt. Very nice to have a choice.

I have an old Diamondback Topanga Mountain Bike (circa early to mid 90s) which I'm using to ride the paved riverside bike trails in my area to hop from fishing spot to fishing spot. I'm adding a rear basket rack which can hold my backpack, other gear, and mounted fishing rod holders so I'll be 100% mobile and hands free to cycle on the trails. Since this bike didn't come with a kickstand years ago and I did actually ride mountain bike trails, it was never a thought to get one. Now that I will be making multiple stops, laying the bike gently on the ground is not an option with the gear onboard, so I needed a sturdy kickstand. After reading multiple reviews I decided on this center mount BV unit. The kickstand came in a plastic bag with the included bolts, bracket and lock washer. My bike doesn't have a middle mount hole so I had to use the bracket and go old school mount style. It took about 5 minutes to get this installed and it was quite easy. The only thing you have to deal with is the limitations of your bike frame and what components might be right there in the way. When you tighten down the bolt, be sure to keep repositioning the kickstand as it might twist as you crank your wrench or socket wrench. Before you tighten it down to its final position, backspin your pedals to make sure you have enough clearance and won't clip it when you pedal. ANYONE with basic tool use and motor skills can install this, most probably in under 5 minutes. As I mentioned, the only issue you might run into is working around your bike frame and components to get the bolt in and tightened. After installation the kickstand went up and down as expected, remember it's a kickstand, not an aircraft carrier. I liked how I was able to adjust the length of the stand to set how the bike would lean. On my hard mat I went shorter, on the soft carpet I went longer, and I was able to set the bike how I wanted. I give it 4 stars now only because I haven't put it through some real world use. I will add any major positive or negative results as I use this kickstand when I have the rear rack loaded with about 20 to 25 pounds of fishing gear and misc. items I use for IRL Streaming. So far it seems solid and I hope will do the job. I hope this review was informative for you. Cheers!

Works great! Super sturdy.

Easy to install. Adjustable angle so you can lean bike higher or lower. It took me 45 seconds to install. The other stand I had kept banging my pedals but this is pretty sleek and stays completely out of the way.

This extra long kickstand works well on my older 29" bike. I had a smaller kickstand that kind of worked, but not really. This one does. However this would not mount on another full suspension bike I have due to it's lack of a proper location for a kickstand. In general it's nice to finally have a proper kickstand length for this bike. The adjustability is good for a range of bicycles that can accept a kickstand. It seemed reasonable on the price and installation was simple. Time will tell on durability.

I ordered this kickstand after getting tired of looking for places to rest my bike against. This kickstand had high reviews so I gave it a shot. I was not particularly impressed for a multitude of reasons and ultimately ended up returning it (I was sent the wrong color, but am not including the error in my review of the item itself). Perhaps I had high expectations due to the reviews, but nonetheless I was not ecstatic about this kickstand. Mounting - This kickstand mounts like most, at the junction at the bottom of the frame directly in front of the rear wheel. Mounting was a breeze although the provided screw was way longer than I thought it needed to be - not really an issue. Spring - The spring that holds it in place at its respective positions is incredibly strong. Unless you're biking off of a ten story building I don't see this kickstand ever flying out of its backward position while riding. This is far and away my favorite feature of this kickstand. Size & adjustment - The kickstand is quite massive - too massive for my preference. I don't need my kickstand to be thick enough to reflect gunfire for it to serve its purpose. That extra girth translates to extra weight and may look awkward if you've streamlined your bike to fit a slicker profile. The adjustment piece on the bottom doesn't seem to be quite as strong as the kickstand itself. I had no specific issues with the quality of the bottom piece but I can see it succumbing to failure earlier than anything else on the kickstand. It does however allow adjustment for a very wide range of bike heights and may suit you well if that is a large concern. Weight - This was the deal-breaker for me. This kickstand is heavy as far as kickstands go. The descriptions states it's intended for cruiser bikes but still seems to me to be a bit more than needed for that purpose. Even if mountain biking or riding through rough terrain I'd opt for a lighter-weight profile that doesn't have as much girth. For any uses I'd anticipate it seems to be overkill, unless you're mounting it to a penny farthing. Many reviewers are obviously quite content with this kickstand and you may like it; I however found its mass to be more than I needed.

La verdad me la pensaba en gastar tanto dinero en una pata para la bicicleta, pero no me arrepiento, es sumamente buena, tiene una calidad excelente y unos acabados excelentes. La pata tiene un resorte que la regresa a su lugar con mucha fuerza para que no vaya haciendo ruido ni aflojándose, cosa que me gustó mucho porque mi bicicleta es muy rígida y tiende a hacer ruido en los accesorios que le pongo, pero con esta pata nada de eso sucede, está súper bien. Además se adapta en altura con un mecanismo muy sencillo donde mueves una palanquita de metal que trae oculta y te permite cambiar la altura, la probé con rodados desde 26 hasta 29 y 700 y queda perfecta, realmente perfecta, sólida y bien construída. Además tiene 2 modos para instalarla en la bici, hay unas bicis (como la singlespeed que tengo) que tienen una plaquita con un agujero y esta pata viene perfecto para ese sistema de anclaje, trae un tornillo sólido para fijarla a ese hoyo. Por otro lado trae una placa de metal para poder poner la pata en una bici que no tenga ese sistema, por ejemplo en las bicicletas de montaña que no traen ese agujerito, aún así la pata vá a quedar bien puesta utilizando esa plaquita de metal. Agregué algunas fotos, espero que les sirva de referencia, la bicicleta que tiene lodo es la de montaña que no tiene sistema de anclaje, pero aún así la pata le queda con la placa de metal que incluye. Muy recomendable, caro pero lo vale.

Schnell montiert, jederzeit einfach zu verstellen und macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Durch das Zurückziehen des "Schnapperls" beim Einstellen ist auch ein versehentliches Auslösen sehr unwahrscheinlich... auch wenn es die Eltern anfangs zur Verzweiflung brachte weil sich auch durch noch so starkes Reindrücken einfach nichts verstellen ließ :)

J'ai acheté cette béquille pour mon VTT électrique Moma Bikes E-MTB 29 avec des roues de 29 pouces.Cette béquille s'adapte bien sur ce vélo qui possède une plaque de montage pour ce faire. La béquille s'insère juste entre les 2 butées présentes sur le vélo, ce qui l'empêche de tourner, et le perçage est au bon endroit. J'ai utilisé la vis BTR qui est la plus courte des 2 vis fournies. La béquille semble assez robuste et sa plage de réglage en longueur est compatible avec mon vélo qui n'est ainsi ni trop droit ni trop penché. Un achat satisfaisant donc, surtout que son prix est bas.

Llegó a tiempo, sin problema. El precio me ha parecido razonable según la calidad del producto. De momento parece resistente, aunque como todo, hay que tratarlo con un poco de cariño. Lo he podido colocar sin problemas (para una bici Rockrider 27,5") y como se puede regular la altura, se adapta a cualquier tamaño de bicicleta. Estéticamente no queda mal. Lo recomiendo.
