Best if painted and modified !
I placed them onto standard black 3 step pullouts that came on the camper. I removed the plastic grab handle and centered the metal mounting plate over the old location. The kit comes with 4 hex screws but the plate has 8 holes. I purchased 4 more screws. I was able to swing the upright Bach toward the side of the top step. There was a 1/4 inch hole there. I then got a grade 8 bolt about 4 inches long to replace the shorter one that came with it. I also added a spacer of 3/4" so when you tighten down the wing nut is is very stable. I also painted all parts and bolt with fast dry white paint. Looks good. The product is just square metal tubing. Had on past 2 weeks while on vacation. Everyone liked them. No more worries that someone will fall!

NOT as pictured
A right hand hand rail is pictured but a left one is shipped. They are not interchangeable! To make it worse now it's a debacle on paying return shipping after I already paid for shipping to have a product that was not as pictured or specified shipped TO me. Ugh, a horrible experience

Misleading and False
CR Brophy Machine Works AHR4 Scissor Step Hand Rail with 4 Step. As you see the discription stats with steps withch is wronge this is only for the hand rail no steps at all. to save money on steps if thats what you are needing buy two 2 steps and remove the top from one and the bottom from the other and bolt them together if you need a four stepper. Waiting for a refund now and the 2-2steps to arrive

Misleading!
Save your money! While it would seem logical and ethical that this product comes with the steps that are pictured and identified in the product description.....THEY DO NOT. I am very unhappy with this purchase as I feel ripped off. I have sent them back and am waiting for a refund.
