Sharp low profile cutting tool required
Excellent product, fits perfectly in my DeWalt toolboxes. You’ll obtain the best results cutting out the profile of your items, buy using a low profile cutting tool. I obtained my best results using a scalpel. There are foam cutting kits for sale on Amazon. If like me you use multiple cordless tools, this is the perfect way to keep those expensive batteries safe.

Have a mat / extra foam for underneath the foam in the case.
What can I say, fits perfectly and is easy to cut the shapes of your tools in to. My only issue (I know you get what you pay for) is the price. It's ridiculous the cost of these bits of foam. Admittedly all the usual suspects charge similar, what I can’t understand is they must have the template then it’s a case of just popping the shape out from a roll. Anyway it’s great stuff but the price hurts a lot. Note! Have a mat / extra foam for underneath the foam in the case. Gauging the depth without cutting right through is very hard.

Useful if you like looking after your kit.
I got this as I was putting a few different bits in to one case and wanted them holding securely. As long as you have a sharp knife you can cut through this quite nicely, but the 'peel' part is slightly misleading. The top and bottom layers are really well glued together so you do have a bit of a fight on your hands getting your cut shape out of the block. Beyond that - No worries.

Doesn't fit 2.0 large toolbox
Unfortunately this doesn't fit perfectly into my though system 2.0 Extra large tool box.. maybe they sell a separate one for that and I've purchased the wrong one, I'm not sure. It does still go in, just isn't perfect. Cut my tools into it regardless and I'm still happy with the results. Just replaced all my tools and I'm pretty confident this is going to keep them in pristine condition! I bought a Stanley utility knife from screwfix to cut the foam and it worked a treat, could set the depth on the knife to make sure I could then peel the foam back evenly. Just ordered a tray to go inside my toolbox so once that's arrived I'll be ordering some foam for it to keep my batteries secure!

Disappointing and expensive
I am totally underwhelmed by this product, it's suggested that it's easy to peel, when cut. Far from it, I cut my tool templates with a sharp long bladed nice, with a depth marker, but would the cut areas pull out. No, they tore and came out in clumps. I spent over an hour and a half just trying to tease out the trimmed area. I will be buying an alternative for the rest of my boxes. This is way over prices and not easy to use

Not as good as they state
This is not as easy to cut shapes from and the layers the state should just pull out, don’t. Although I will say they are tough.
