It is written as a standalone,but with every series like this, there are perks of reading them in order. You get to know the characters on deeper levels. There are bits in here mentioning that Everly, a supporting character, is crazy. This is absolutely 100% accurate, but you need to read book one and two, at least book two in order to really understand her level of crazy. This book of Gabe and Sandra's story is cute, has moments of fun. But it's much shorter than the previous two and I feel there was more character background that could be added. Like Sandra mentions something about an ex, this would have been a great thing to explain more to us reader's. Because that ex is the reason she even has a job with Gabe and Sawyer. It's still a good read, its just not to the same standard as the previous two. This is just my opinion. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ So funny!!! *by ~***~ on January 7, 2017* Gabe was not at all what I was expecting. In Everly and Sawyers book I got the impression he was the nerdy, smart guy who doesn't know he's good looking. Boy was I wrong. Turns out he knows exactly what those glasses do to women.Sandra was an awesome heroine. OMG did I love how Sandra brought Gabe to his knees. What's even more funny about this is she's what you would call a good girl. Slightly meek, very professional and tends to avoids drama. She did exactly what I want to see from a heroine who faces off with an arrogant hero.Gabe may have started out as an alpha-whole but Sandra knew exactly how to handle him. Add in that Gabe's assistant, Preston was hilarious who added a lot of fun to this novella, but we also got to see more of Everly and Sawyer.Oh and I listened to the audio version and loved the narrators! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fling is a steamy hot, delectibly sweet treat! *by F***6 on March 14, 2018* Fling has every delectable, sexy, hilarious, rom-com element of a full length novel all wrapped up neatly is this impeccably written sweet treat.I make no secret of my affection for this author. Jana Aston is one of my all time favorite. I pimp her to everyone. All the time. I love everything about her work. I'd follow her around and offer to carry her purse or braid her hair if it wasn't creepy. Actually it's only because I live too far. I can live with being creepy.In this divine book we have our sweet, conservative Sandra. Assistant to Sawyer from Right book 2. Sawyers girlfriend Everly sets her sights on setting sweet Sandra up with the object of her affection - Gabe. Gabe is also quiet and a bit conservative. Everly decides these two need a little nudge. Between Everly's help and their own attraction for each other - a wicked little fling ensues. Wicked hot! Wicked sweet! Absolutely delicious. Completely consuming from cover to cover.Everything I've come to expect from Jana's books plus some. I devour every word and these are books I have re-read and re-listened to repeatedly.
