We only have a few racks and barbells and just did not have the room for a full deadlift platform. Found these and gave them try. They are a lifesaver. Have had the same set for almost a year now, they get used at least a dozen times per day, and they are still one of the best investments we made. We use them with regular plates, not bumpers, but should be fine for either. They can be moved and setup literally anywhere in the gym that has room, They are easier on the equipment then just our rubber floor and they do deaden the noise a fair amount. I also love that it forces you to do steady, controlled, proper deadlifts by re-centering the bar after each rep instead of letting you get sloppy. Will buy again when these finally wear out. Review: Good thickness and protection offered - Solid piece, definitely helps when I lift heavier on my deads, there is a noise reduction and it protects my floors. Worth the money if you want to hit your 1rm in doors and protect your floors and equipment. The material is thick and of higher quality.

Wish it were flat, instead of curved. Makes getting aligned in the middle of the lift more challenging. Plus if you drop the bar with lighter weights, it would just bounce off. So be careful. Bar bounced and hit my shin the first time I used it.

Great for apartment deadlifts.

Just what I needed!
I think these are great- precisely what I needed since I’m lifting off a bare concrete floor. Just a heads up to other powerlifters though: these are about ~1/2” thick and don’t compress much if at all. So it’s not the same as pulling from the floor - you have a slightly decreased range of motion. If you’re 6’ plus like Mr. Hall, this might not be noticeable, but if you’re small, it might make more of a difference to you. You could always pull from a small piece of plywood if it matters to you to... just a thought. Really nice quality though!

Five Stars
They deaden and protect my rubber coated weights with limited lift off of the ground.

Didnt help us. The bar with weights would just roll off of it. Didnt help the sound. We do drop the weights and this just isnt what we need.
