Slow plot, dull characters. Yawn

I didn't engage with the characters at all, seemed like an episode of midsummer murders, but poorly written. Very middle class, middle England vibe, I'm afraid I found it quite dull.

Getting even, legally ... and the lady to boot!!

OK! I am a dinosaur and like the feel of paper!! I hate reading a story synopsis beforehand ... I like the story characters and plot to blossom as you turn each page, pulling you in until you feel you are part of the scenery ... as this book did! Two glorious nights of suspended reality and I reached the end ... satiated ... but hungry to start reading 'The Revenge'. Choose your own reading format ... ... BUT DO READ THIS BOOK !!
