Sara Tavares) **** (Very pretty song, good vocals) “Waiting For the Night” ***** (Great club banger, starts off slow but heads straight away to the dancing quickly) “Miracles” ***** (very different, you'll be mesmerized by the instruments in the background) “Circles” **** (great beats, nice song to just walk or drive while listening) “Enemy” *** (meaningful lyrics, amazing percussion, average vocals) “Believers (Arab Spring)” **** (very uplifting and happy) deluxe edition----- “Hold Up” **** (Maneater part 2, need I say more) “End of the World” **** (really nice song, lyrically, instrumentally) “Don’t Leave Me” ***** (Favorite, great reggae beat, emotional tone, and vocals are top notch) “Be OK” (feat. Dylan Murray) **** (Great duet, very soothing and relaxing to listen to) “Thoughts” (feat. The Kenyan Boys Choir) ***** (interesting combination of vocals, very different, love the simplistic tone of the song) “Thoughts” (feat. The Kenyan Boys Choir) [Tiësto Remix] ***** (tiesto adds a bit more flavor) Review: Amazing body of work - Nelly Furtado is an artist who constantly evolves with each album. This album is no different. Lyrically, this album is her best since Folklore. It has a variety of sounds, although it is predominantly urban. In that respect, it is similar to her debut. This isn't Loose v2.0, which I could see taking some people off guard at first, though, to be honest, I am grateful that she didn't just settle for the easy hit. As great as Loose was/is, I felt that some of her energy was lost on that album. The Spirit Indestructible, however, is ALL Nelly. This album combines hard beats with insightful lyrics, making it an enjoyable listen. Vocally, she experiments more on this album than perhaps ever before; her voice on Circles and Miracles are gorgeous. All in all, this album combines the high energy of her debut, the lyrical depth of Folklore, the beats of Loose and the vocals of her spanish album into one awesome package. I hate that it's going to be so underrated. It really doesn't deserve it.

Pretty much what I was hoping for
I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan, but I do own all of Nelly Furtado's albums. Each one contains some serious gems, as well as some very skippable songs. Nelly is also pretty good at creating songs that really grow on you. I like when that happens, because those kinds of songs tend to endure longer. With The Spirit Indestructible, I have not been disappointed. There are some absolutely amazing songs that hit you right away, as well as songs that really grow on you - and then a few songs that I don't care for at all. What's strange, though, is that this album is quite a bit lop-sided. It's starts with lots of thumping crowd-pleasing dance hits, then slows down a bit to more thoughtful, but still catchy and enjoyable fare, and finally ends with some rather slow, dull, and forgettable songs. Not sure why they chose to do that. Maybe it's just my perception. In the end and overall, though, this is a great addition to my music collection.

A Less Comercial sound with Fantastic Results!!!!!
This album is definatly a hidden gem for 2012 releases. It had a very quiet release with little to no marketing, when I first listened I was Happily surprised to hear a less comercial sound from nelly this go round. while I loved her previous effort Loose I felt she was just following the Timberlad train,as everyone else was at that time. and nothing about that record was unique or fresh. This album on the otherhand is very refreshing,it sounds like nothing on the radio right now and that is a relief,I am so glad she did her own thing this time and not that cookie cutter factory released pop that is on the radio now where every artist sounds exactly the same. I can't say there is one track better than another since they are all great in thier own way..BUT a standout is probably Bucket List this is an amazing song!!!! I highly recommend giving this album a chance with an open mind and open ears, trust me when I say you will not be dissapointed

I had the opportunity to attend a concert on Nelly's Spirit Indestructible Tour and hear these songs for the first time. I immediately purchased the CD and absolutely love it. There is a strong and dramatic use of percussion that appeals to me and the vocals are really beautiful. There seems to be a native american influence to some of the songs that provides a tribal beat. Stand out tracks for me are Spirit Indestructible, Big Hoops and Bucket List but that being said, there isn't a song on it that I don't like. The only thing I like more was hearing Nelly sing it live.

Spedizione amazon perfetta!

I received the new Nelly Furtado album in the post from Amazon today. From the moment the album started I was completely hooked! An excellent new sound, tons of very bassy bass, great for turning it up loud and blowing away all the cobwebs. I've listened to it three times already and just had to write a review as it is not often one can listen to an album and like absolutely all of it! Bravo Nelly, it was worth the wait! Glad I bought a second copy for my daughter!!

Persönliche Highlights: Waiting For The Night Big Hoops (Bigger The Better) Spirit Indestructible High Life Enemy Parking Lot Auch die Bonussongs sind ein Anhören wert. "Hold Up" ist eine tolle Uptempo-Nummer. "End Of The World" entpuppt sich als zauberhafte Ballade, während Furtado im "Don't Leave Me" dem Reggae huldigt. "End Of The World" und "Cry" schließen das Album optimal ab.
