The rust eraser REALLY works and it's very impressive. I have a Summit Knife by Ridge I purchased in late 2019 right before the pandemic. I loved the knife and used it all the time. A quick rinse and maybe a little soap and water would usually clean it well enough. However, over the years it accumulated some nasty-looking rust spots on the blade and on the lower foldout mechanism where the blade hinges to the handle. 10 minutes of using the wet rust eraser from this kit and the knife looks like new (except for the careless fine scratches I got on the handle from leaving the knife in my center console). There was a crevice where the blade meets the handle that was hard to get at with the eraser, so I simply used some scissors to cut a narrow strip off the end of the eraser, and I managed to wedge it into the crevice to get rid of the remaining rust. The cloth and oil both work well and made the knife look good, too, but the real star is the eraser and how it manages to get the rust off right in front of your eyes. Almost magical. Highly recommended.

works as expected, but be prepared to have to wash the oil bottle with dawn, because it comes in a plastic baggy and mine was covered in oil on the outside.

Amazing product. I was thinking about buying a new knife set, but I decided to look for a product that would restore the blade first. Well, this is the product I was looking for. Cleaning process is fast and easy, and result is incredible. Highly recommended!

A few of my steak knives developed rust spots with erosion of small areas of stainless steel along the cutting edge. This oil and eraser worked wonders at removing the rust. I wholeheartedly recommend purchasing this kit if you have the same issue.

I bought this to oil one of my swords after some rough use (cutting pumpkins and chopping some firewood). It was super easy to use and the oil seems to be a good quality. It also comes with 2 lint free towels to dress and wipe which was great. Only thing I wish was the stone was a higher grit! I would recommend this kit!

Basically got this to keep my knives, protected well not in use and to keep them looking nice as well. To apply is not hard at all just be careful not to cut yourself well cleaning your blades.
