Vinyl LP pressing. 2010 release from the West London Indie Rock quartet. Mumford & Sons, have created a gutsy, old-time sound that marries the magic of Crosby, Stills & Nash with the might of Kings of Leon and the harmonies of Fleet Foxes. Sigh No More was recorded at East coast Studios and produced by Markus Dravs who has worked with such superstar acts as Arcade Fire, Bjork and Peter Gabriel. Formed in 2007, the band's goal since day one has been to make music that matters. Review: Crisp sound - Love listening to music on vinyl. Review: Great Album - Low Cost - This is another great album from Mumford & Sons. Music that hits the hear and raises inspiration. Great price, great vinyl - highly recommended!

Great Vinyl Album
VINYL REVIEW: This vinyl is probably one of the best values I've gotten yet! Obviously, if you like Mumford and Sons you are going to like this album (as it has many of their radio hits on it), but for the price, this is great quality, thick vinyl. It sounds incredibly clear and the sound range is impressive. Easily one of the best albums I own on vinyl in terms of quality. I wasn't expecting that at this price. This would be a great album to benchmark your audio system (or system changes) on. For comparison, my audio system consists of: Pioneer VSX-521 receiver (4.0 configuration) Audio Technica AT-LP120 turntable w/ AT95E cartridge (4x) paradigm atom v.6 speakers

Sigh no more with this on vinyl!
Long time Mumford & Sons fans and had the opportunity to see them play during the original Gentleman of the Road show... Despite the hot, humid weather and the extremely overcrowded area, something magical happened when M&S went on to play their set. Picture this: thousands of people overlooking the ocean singing together in unison under strings of of Edison lights and stars. Something you never forget. We weren't sure about the new album (which was "Sigh No More" at the time), but we were convinced after seeing them live. There are such strong songs on here outside of the radio hits, like: - Awake My Soul ("Lend me your hand and we'll conquer them all/But lend me your heart and I'll just let you fall/Lend me your eyes I can change what you see/But your soul you must keep, totally free" or, or, or "Where you invest your love, You invest your life") - Thistle & Weeds ("Plant your hope with good seeds/Don't cover yourself with thistle and weeds") - White Blank Page ("So tell me now, where was my fault/In loving you with my whole heart") We love getting music like this on vinyl - it sounds so gritty and raw and we appreciate that. We don't need anything fancy like digital downloads or additional perks in the paperwork. We just want the music, and that's exactly what you get here.

Great Sound
I love this album, and I have it in various formats. The vinyl (this product) sounds the best. At one point, they released a 24-bit version, but it has since gone away, leaving this as the best-sounding option.

It's good for the price
It's a great album to start off with. But the vinyl does like to pop and crack. But for me, I like it. It just adds the the depth of the sound they have already. It's not overpowering, just barely noticible at the beginning of some songs. I recommend it if you are into the vinyl scene and sound. For what you pay its a good purchase. Thank's again Mumford and Sons!

Love it!
I mainly favor rock and alternative music. I came across Mumford and Sons on youtube about a month ago. I have never heard anything quite like this band. And I mean that in the best way. The haunting lyrics and vocals and the banjo have really touched something in my soul that I have not experienced in a very long time. There is something spiritual about this album that I can't quite put my finger on. I have to say that The Cave is my personal favorite. But i love most of the songs as well. Coincidentally, I have been rewatching the Six Feet Under HBO series(I highly recommend that as well) and find that this album seems to somehow remind me of that show. Maybe it's the mortality theme. I think some of these songs from this album would have most certainly been used in that series. I am very impressed with Mumford and Sons, escpecially for a first album. And I highly recommend it. I look forward to more of their albums in the future.
