Interferes with heat sensor in microwave causing food to overcook
Two unanticipated problems. The pad and cover were of very thick material, which would be good, except this caused the sensor in my microwave to not accurately determine the temperature of the food and overcooked. Also, the cover lays directly on the food when on a plate and I didn't like that. I prefer a cover that sits above the food.

This cover works well in the microwave but it is larger than even our dinner plates.

cushions the glass tray and is handy when you have a hot dish. Just raise the sides and pick the item up. Advertised as a spatter shield too, but a plastic shield is better.
