Chill-Ino Backpacking Camping Hammock

Awesome addition to my camping gear. Ultralight for hiking, has built in straps to attach to trees, folds quite compactly into an attached pouch for easy carrying. The parachute material is high quality and quite strong, and I was pleased at how comfortable it was when I set it up in my yard for a test run. This is a well made, comfortable, ultralight, and affordable product every hiker should carry. What's unique about Rovor is that they're more a club than a corporation, so they can greatly reduce their prices by cutting out the middle man, and product testing is done by club members, meaning their products are all developed and tested by fellow enthusiasts.

I am giving this hammock 4 stars. That being said, I would buy it again and would also purchase it as a gift. The hammock was as described and as depicted in the pictures. The material is soft and appears to be quality. The color is also nice, as seen in the pictures, it is not a "generic" green and is complimented well by the grey. The quad stitching is nice and is not sloppily done but appears to be of a lighter thread, perhaps that is why it is quad stitched (?). As seen in the pictures, the layout of the different sections of fabric mis-match at the cinching fold. No big deal, but worth noting... For me, the only real factors not working as well as they could for this hammock are the attachment clips and the routing of the mounting ropes. I, and I would assume most people, would prefer spring clips or "caribeaners" (spelling?) as opposed to hooks with a screw-in/on type closure for obvious simplicity and user-friendly ease of use. I also would have re-routed the cinching/attachment lines differently, we have other hammocks of this type and this line is doubled-up on it's self. Again, no big deal, easy fix... but worth noting/changing. All in all, not a bad little hammock. I am quite pleased with it.

Nice hammock! I've only used it on one trip so far, but it has withstood multiple people plopping themselves into it and some monkeying around in by co-campers' kids, so it certainly seems sturdy enough. This is the version that doesn't come with tree straps, so it was interesting to work out how to attach it securely to a tree (you better have some branches or something, because this isn't going to just hold around the trunk), but it worked just fine with no external aids. If you're not worried about backpacking or aren't getting it for the color, the version with tree straps might be a better bet. As it is, I am quite happy with the purchase :)

My 12 year old took this to camp and it broke like on day 3! Too bad because he loved the color of it. Just cheaply made
